  1. How about some pillows on the drivers seat
  2. Explain the BOV, is it is an atmospheric type? If so there's the problem, not the ECU (well lack of tune to suit this type of BOV).
  3. Fulcrum deal with Tein coilovers so it's likely they can help you out
  4. Do you have cheap HKS -copy split dumps by any chance? (could be fouling on the dump if so) Did you re-use the actuators from the stock turbos, or whatever were already attached to the R34 N1's? (Could have turbo shuffle where 1 turbo is doing all the work)
  5. Technically if you took your R32 or R33 to a Nissan Dealership for a service they would most likely put a Z442 on anyway (not sure if Nissan still have their version of the Z145a made)
  6. Investigate the turbo, blue smoke usually indicates turbo seals (or your piston rings are gone)
  7. It's possible they were overfilled and what's on the ground is just from the breathers
  8. Redirect the exhaust flow to pass through the charcoal canister first? Though you would probably introduce some backpressure via 10mm hoses to the canister itself and negate the straight pipe.
  9. Permacool make a fairly cheap kit: http://www.gccorp.com.au/automotive/product_info.php?products_id=205
  10. What's the source for the coilpacks?
  11. Need Nistune or aftermarket ECU, then a custom tune to tune around the BOV blockoff. Stock ECU expects the compressed air to be otherwise re-circulated through the intake, what is being measured at the AFM and what is actually reaching the engine is why it's stalling and running like crap.
  12. By air/fuel controller are you referring to piggybacks? (Apexi SAFC is an example). As for engine life? If they are poorly configured/tuned then yes.. standalone ECU is always the best option, but not the cheapest.
  13. Don't get a X-Force cat, they don't actually pass EPA emissions. Need a Catco cat or some other compliance cat.
  14. R32 and R33 GTR it's the Z145a, but Nissan switched to a smaller filter (probably to cut costs) with the R34.. the closest Ryco filter I know is Z442 which is slightly smaller in diameter and height (in comparison to the Z145a)
  15. Most R32 GTR airboxes no matter what, seem to have the strange problem of all the clips locking down except for one
  16. Best time to know when it needs changing is when it goes black, when my mechanic changed every drivetrain fluid (front & rear diff, attessa, transfer case, gearbox, clutch, brakes), all of them were black, except for the front diff which still looked brandnew. I'm guessing because the ATTESSA system is a part-time system, the front diff could go alot longer without changing than the rear.
  17. Could be the ignitor on it's way out, they tend to be fine when cold but when they've warmed up they have problems.
  18. I know of a belt on the TweakIt site, but it may be the same belt you already have from your other RB25/30: http://www.tweakit.net/shop/product_info.p...up69vo90gsvh1l3
  19. If I had a Getrag I'd only be putting in the genuine fluid, Toyota V160 (same box as the Supra 6spd Getrag)
  20. Does this thermo fan have any kind of shroud?
  21. Sounds like the catalytic converter temperature warning light, PowerFC use it to indiciate engine knocking
  22. 1x black holes (filter)
  23. Grab a R33 service manual if unsure.. it's fairly straight forward but if you take the CAS off and put it back in the wrong position your timing will be off.
  24. blk94r33 forgot to mention timing belt could have skipped a tooth or 2 can make it run like crap, really need a timing light to confirm the timing is out.. i think 3 teeth out the pistons start bending the valves
  25. Since it's a 32, it's possible you have the 32 Nismo turbos, steel wheel and the laggiest of all the garrett turbos with steel wheels. Even with them though full boost at 5500rpm, should be seeing full boost much earlier maybe about 4000rpm instead if you indeed had them.
