  3. ok so I thought id revive this with a bit of information for you all. Currently running 300v Competition with eflex in my 34 standard 25 neo. This oil is approx 4.5 months old (sat for one month without moving) and travelled about 3000kms. Was driving home from work tonight and after about 2 mins from setting off I noticed my oil pressure gauge (aftermarket gauge with sensor located in oil cooler sandwich plate off the block) darting all over the place from 90psi to 60 sometimes 30psi and back up again, but really rapid movements. stationary at lights saw steady pressure too. The car had seen a windout of a few gears at work 5hrs prior with no issues that I saw. shitty camera phone video while driving here: At first I thought ahh shit did i crack my oil pump drive! but car was driving perfect like always so I thought maybe the gauge is faulty. Kept an eye on it but as soon as i got onto the m4 at 110 the needle sat dead on the usual 90psi. Gave it some light throttle 30-40% to see if it dropped under boost, went a few times to 0.5-1.0 bar with no issues but rather than risk it ill back off and get her home. Monitored it all the way, after getting off the highway the pressure fluctuations came back and said to myself if I see 0psi at any stage ill switch it off and get a tow. Almost hit 0psi when I made this recording: (still uploading) Got her home and immediately dropped the oil, Stuff came out like water. Oil only reached about 70 deg in the 30 min drive. Got a clean and dry bottle to take a sample so ill see what the boys at work can do about getting it sent away for analysis and ill report my findings here. Will put some fresh oil in tomorrow or monday and take it for a spin to see if the pressure fluctuations disappear which im 90% sure it will. Here is a pic of the oil on a screwdriver but I couldn't get it to focus on it properly. p.s. Yes I know u should change it every 3 months or 5000kms with ethanol but I was lazy, If I find out that the oil had broken down over the time I will definitely be more vigilant with oil changes like I used to.

  18. Saw on their facebook page extreme motorsports claim to have the Team Orange Evo 9 imported and registered in NSW.. Now a few things come to mind that would make this near impossible to do legitimately. Hasnt been registered in japan for 8-10 years if ever so no deregistration papers to come with the car Driveline has been changed to FR from AWD Has a full cage (but looks like its been mostly cut out) not to mention its had quite a few bingles in its years as a competitive drift car. New firewall which means no vin? So is it possible? In my head they would have to do a full driveline swap from a regular evo, cut out the whole cage, vin number, engine number blah blah
  19. ^^agreed, its a stupid tight apex with only one car width at the best of times, dunno how hdr expects a f1 car to pivot 90 degrees drive forward a meter then pivot 90 degrees again in order to leave a space for a 2nd.. Perez said it all I cooked my brakes cause im young, impatient and trying too hard to prove myself at a new team because everyone doubted my ability. I rate kobi over perez anyday back at sauber, didnt win the 1-2 races but kobi was almost always a higher grid position, drove like a mad man and if he overcooked it he only hurt himself (maybe one incident contrary) and was consistently in the top 10 for the half the season or more. seb now with a 15-25 point lead in the champ I believe which is a pain in the ass to come back from for kimi, it was about this time that alonso had to step it up big time to catch vettel last year was it not?
  20. so close to ur home yet so far.. hopefully the cops found the people red handed with the car as it was. unfortunately for you being half stripped the cost to replace it all may outweigh the policy and the car ends up written off Because your not going to get new things like engines and seats etc so really I wouldn't know if id want it back
