  2. It's a great cooler! Blitz know what they are doing.... Quality design, fit, finish and performance. Enjoy mate
  3. Thread revival for an update on JJR coil packs... Went OK for the first 2 years (10000kms) now failing badly and will be replaced with Splitfires. I only wish I had spent my hard-earned $$ on Splitfires in the first place. Lesson learnt
  4. +1 with the Apexi super suction intake
  5. MPS trumps the competition! I recently purchased an MPS new after test driving the WRX (cheap & hideous styling with vague steering, soft suspension and a 5 speed - WTF?) the GTi (admirable all-rounder but lacks any real guts or go) and the XR5 (lacking features and looks) I actually wanted a WRX but was so disappointed once I had driven one that I just couldn't. The GTi may be a hatch and may be "sporty" but it isn't "hot" and just fails to excite. At all... They also have quality and reliability options; $11k for a new DSG transmission anyone? The GTi may have won many awards but check out the quality surveys and VW is third from bottom just ahead of Ford and Holden. Fact! My mate has an XR5 that has been chipped and it goes and sounds great I like it... but... he has driven my MPS and guess what? He wants to buy an MPS now! The MPS has a great chassis with well sorted suspension (and a pretty firm ride) it is also quicker from 0-100km than the others aside from the WRX... but how many times are you willing to side-step the clutch at 7000rpm in your brand new WRX to get a good time? The in-gear acceleration of the MPS is truly awesome it is quicker from 80-120km (3.5sec) than a Aston Martin Vantage V8 and a 911 Carerra. The MPS is top speed limited to 250kph by which stage the competition are all long gone. It has the high speed handling and braking that also shames the competition (330mm disks up front + very grippy Dunlop SPs) Check out some of the features on the luxury model: 10 speaker Bose Integrated sat-nav Leather seats Electric driver seat 18" Alloys Bi-Xenon headlights Auto - lights, wipers, rear view dimming Push button start and entry 190kw and 380NM! All for under $40k if you know how to bargain... Either that or you need to drop $60k odd for an STi or Golf R to get most of these features and numbers standard. You already know where my money went. Good Luck

  7. LOL about the comments regarding AU Falcon and Skyline having similar handling characteristics... even when modified for the track!
  8. nice bit of kit this.. good price too... free bump
  9. ^^ +1 Just got an NPC 10" HD Organic clutch (300rwkw), thrust bearing and billet steel 6.8kg flywheel delivered for just over $1k. I believe the clutches are modified (& improved) Exedy items with more clamping pressure and stock feel.
  10. Sorry guys this ECU is sold and shipped!
  11. Still available... lots of interest but no sale yet
  12. Yes you are correct mate... my mistake - as you can see from the pix it is actually a type 2 board
  13. See below for pix (including consult cable, serial no, daughter board and wiring mods to suit R33) & yes this ECU will be good to go for the series 2 ECR33! PM on it's way!
  14. As the title says I have a Z32 Nistune ECU for sale. This ECU has had the Nistune type 3 daughter board fitted and has also been modded for use in the ECR33 by Nistune in SA. This is a complete, plug-in, real-time tunable ECU solution for the ECR33 that requires no other mods or wiring. Comes with PLMS USB consult cable worth $95! $450 + shipping anywhere in Aus/NZ
  15. Sorry guys I seem to have pissed people off royally here which was not my intention at all. I don't think I put words in anyones mouth and clearly I have my wires crossed somewhere along the line... Appologies Trent I meant no disrespect Stao please have your thread back
  16. Settle down mate... Who is bagging who? All I said was that if there is an underlying issue with the Z32 ECU here (which appears to be the case) then my expectation is that it's Nistunes responsilbility to resolve it.... which they appear to be doing. Clearly I am not happy with this situation and other people telling me to just buy another ECU is not the answer I'm looking for here. When the tuner who was the "go to guy" in VIC for these things turns around and tells you he won't touch them with a barge pole I think there is a little problem no?
  17. So what should do you think I should do? Spend $600 and have a punt to find out? Oh and BTW that tuner who was the "go to guy" for these things now won't touch them with a barge pole... excuse me if I am not filled with confidence
  18. Actually Stao it was precisely because of Trent talking up this Nistune Z32 ECU solution for the R33 that I purchased one in the first place! (through him) I will wait to see what Darkhalf comes back with... Contrary to what Trent says this is a 100% a Nistune problem - except of course when you are using an unapproved 16bit ECU! Nistune sell this solution for the R33 so they are obliged to sort these issues out and get it working. My Z32 ECU is on the Nistune approved list and was modded by them in SA - I damn well expect them to get it working! P.S. I just spent a bazillion dollars on turbo, injectors, clutch etc and didn't leave myself budget to buy a $1000 ECU @Rolls - Thanks for the advice mate but I got this Z32 ECU because Trent and everyone else were adamant that it is a better solution than the R32 ECU.
  19. As luck would have it I've managed to score myself an Apexi super suction intake pipe A very nice piece of kit in cast alloy... nobody could fabricate anything of this much beauty out of exhaust pipe Can't wait to hear the GT-RS sucking through this puppy!
  20. Tell me it's not true I am just about to get one of these Nistune Z32 ECUs installed in my R33! @Darkhalf please sort this out and give us confidence in this product... I'll be over $1000 out of pocket and not very happy if my tuner (not Trent anymore) can't get this solution working! I look forward to an update mate
  21. Apexi pod - SOLD Pineapples and poly steering rack bushes still for sale!
  22. Yes I am well aware of the Power FC thanks however they are not cheap and I already have the Nistune ECU... which up until yesterday thought that this was a good solution (in some ways it has advantages over the PFC). PFC is good but seems to come with it's own set bugs and issues as well so it isn't perfect (and for that kind of money I expect it to be!) Dr Drift is still keen to tune the Z32 for me.. It sounds like maybe Trent has just had a gut full of fixing other peoples f^@k ups and mucking around with these ECUs. Trent is running a small business and has customers lining up for his services so he is in a position to pick and choose I guess. (hopefully I will get the facts on this matter today through another contact) As far as I know there are plenty of happy punters running the Z32 Nistune ECU in their R33 - or am I missing something?
  23. All items $50 including shipping anywhere in Aus! Get yourself some cheap performance parts to help improve your R33
