Correcting you hardly counts as flaming.
GTX30xx and GT30xx turbos run the same turbine and therefore same turbine housings so it is exactly relevant.
No one is trying to make you like the GT30 based turbo but IMO there is another issue with that setup. I have been down the path of changing turbos after getting a poor result. After the new turbo didn't produce decent numbers, I had to find the problem.
Good luck with your setup.
So Mick_o's GTX3071 0.82 int gate is shit....sure, it did shit in 335rwkw on E85.
Here is half your issue. It is not a Garrett turbine housing. Suitable for hi-flows but not larger compressors without compromising results. Assuming you had used a 0.63 Garrett turbine housing with internal gate you would have made a fair bit more power like The Mafia has done.
IMO there is another issue which may rear its head when you get the HG turbo.
Disco, just get the alignment checked then you know what you are dealing with, assuming it is fine is not a good place to start.
A set of rear tyres is all you would need to buy IF the alignment is spot on.
5th was a good result for him but it took a poorly executed overtaking move by Hayden (who had Rossi well covered on race pace) to allow Rossi in front. This had the desired effect of splitting Rossi and Crutchlow who was being held up by Rossi.
He will be happy with the result but realistically with Stoner running off and the above happening he is still nowhere.
Disco, I would recheck the rear camber.
Run the car with about 0.5 degree neg on the rear and it will be fine for what you are doing. New wheel alignment time and insist on the settings you want.
I don't know why..... but I like him more now.
End of the night with all the good lookers rejecting your advances requires a lowering of standards. Top work LH keeping it real.
Last time you "had cash ready" but after agreeing to a price and asking me to get quotes to transport the engine you became uncontactable.
Just a heads up to others.
For sure screamers are awesome with internally gated turbos and run it from either the stock manifold or turbine housing.
If you get cracking tomorrow you should be able to get it done before the school holidays finish.
