  1. They might be easier to make, and fit. However, No Aussie manufacturers are interested in making them, so you'll need to get a custom one made up, which costs bigger $$$'s
  2. Near garden city. I don't get out to many meets because i don't own a skyline. go figure
  3. It also shows a lot of other things. Too much if you ask me...
  4. I'm looking for a machining shop that would be able to give me a quote on making up a few variable pitch steering worms to fit into an old 1967 Datsun roadster. Trying to find someone who can do an effective replacement, since there's only a few spare's left now. Any recommendations for shops that could make them? who's good and local?
  5. Went to the Nando's in the queen street shops one day. Nice enough burger, but the chips were overloaded with spice. Couldn't taste anything for hours!
  6. *sigh*. Seems like some people think that a drag strip not stopping 100% of accidents means it isn't worth it and is a waste of time. Even if it only stopped 50% of accidents, wouldn't that be worth it?
  7. Very uneducated guess: 5K+labour Even then, it won't be AWD. (general consensus there is, if you want AWD, go buy a gtr)
  8. Easier to get parts. In a way. Heck, if it is true that Australia has the largest amount of gts-t's in the world, then its going to be the easiest place in the world to get aftermarket replacement parts.
  9. The US also drives on the wrong side of the road, So skylines are relatively unknown over there.
  10. You'll be getting more than 400awkw's i'd say mate.
  11. It'd be interesting to see how many are still driving around Japan. I mean they really don't like older cars so much, i could see them culling off a lot of the r32 gts-t's and such.
  12. How much would you be looking at for a Imported r31 skyline with the turbo, that isn't about to fall to bits?
  13. How much did/has/will it cost skylinekid (including parts)?
  14. Steel framed houses are new? i lived in one that was built in the 80's.... Or was this replacing wood with steel...
  15. Line the inside of the aluminium with Styrofoam, since noone can see it
  16. Well could you please refrain from branding all P platers like that then? We have rights too! (though their slowly being removed)
  17. heh, i actually thought of you and people like you when i heard him say that on ACA
  18. Perhaps you misread him. "it had to be the safety car. its the only way it would ever get to the front of a v8 supercar without hidding a boost controller in the ash tray...." he's saying that they couldn't get infront because turbo v6's are not allowed (eg, hiding boost controller in ash tray so its not discovered), not because the GT-R is slow
  19. Wait, you hate twits who don't think of anything but power or you hate p platers? they two are very, very different groups, that just happen to have some people who are in both. Just like, for example, there's some people who are your age who are also twits.
  20. Like he said mate, practice. V8 in a R32 if it all works well.
  21. Hmm, fuel system upgrade for 260rwkw or not? 'Course, you have to remember that you'd be doing most of these if it were a manual anyway, so i guess it comes down to how much the stock gearbox can take. It'll cost about the same to get there auto or manual.
  22. Guess they're getting smarter. Few years ago you could just tell them by the multitude of aerials on the rear.
