Why Shouldnt I Sell The Skyline For A Wrx?
sneakey pete replied to Julzillionaire's topic in General Automotive Discussion
It all depends on your taste. However, they are recognizable, since everyone knows it. just like i can tell a Rb from a distance. However, not everyone knows it. -
Nissan Vs Porsche Court Case
sneakey pete replied to yakuza fc's topic in VR Series - R35 GTR, Juke-R
Exactly. Each B2 stealth bomber doesn't actually cost 2 billion dollars to make. But when you take all the research and design expenses and divide it across the (relatively) small production run it mounts up. -
Hehe. Just think about that statement for a while, the answer might come to you. Oh, and stop talking shit mate. Read everything that people are saying and think about it for a while, it might stop you making these silly rants where you misinterpret entire posts and make yourself look pretty silly. (eg, the whole, person a saying: "oh, that particular Toyota motor wasn't to good," then you saying: "Waaah, stop dissin toyota you bogan")

1991 300zx
sneakey pete replied to ClutchBurndout-:('s topic in RB Series - R31, R32, R33, R34 (1986-2002)
Was on a (non zed car) club run, but someone had bough their 300zx along. Long story short, it overheated and we ended up in a smallish country town. As we were standing around with its bonnet up, a local or someone came up from behind the car, said "hey, do you guys need any help... *finally got to the front*... Jesus Christ!" -
Looking For 1st Car Suggestions
sneakey pete replied to Nickz0r!'s topic in General Automotive Discussion
A nicely done Datsun 1600 sedan if you can find it. (by nicely done i don't mean a monstrosity with a Silvia drive train and a bigger turbo on it), something that's been restored nicely. -
I honestly don't see why it would. Its just a passive coating of the bores. Unless the temp somehow gets stupidly hot on the cylinder walls and it starts to melt off, however i really don't think this would be a problem.

Gt-r Sets 'lap Record' At The Nurburgring
sneakey pete replied to Max_ST-R's topic in VR Series - R35 GTR, Juke-R
They'll bitch about the rims. Claim that without them the car would go 25 seconds slower -

Yes, at the end of the day, no matter how good it looks its still a 18 year old car. -
Err, today is day one. they'd have seen it already by now if they were that excited about it.

It is. I think he just defines ripping the engine out, stripping it, and boring it to 87mm as straight forward.

Gtr Vs Gtst Huge Difference In Performance?
sneakey pete replied to boostin_r33's topic in Forced Induction Performance
I wasn't aware that there wasn't anywhere else to have a drag race anyway... -
The obvious difference is, however, that one is 5 years newer than the other. Or, as of this year, 25% younger.

High Flow Turbo Vs Stock Turbo For R-33 Gts-t
sneakey pete replied to blitz r33's topic in Forced Induction Performance
Hmm, what i'd heard was that it was a proper direct fit. Heard it somewhere on here too, a few weeks back. Or maybe i'm just going crazy. -
Nissan Datsun 2009 National Meeting Warwick Qld
sneakey pete replied to dat2kman's topic in Motorsport
Wasn't as bad as the Datsun fairlady's. There's about 30 active and road registered ones in QLD, yet the only ones in the show and shine were Jasons Leighs and a couple who'd come up from Victoria. (props to them for making the 1400km journey up to rainy warick in a sporty!) Plus my dad's parked over by the police station, and another parked somewhere nearby. We came down for a day trip to look, show was in full swing by the time we got here so we didn't try and sneak in! -
High Flow Turbo Vs Stock Turbo For R-33 Gts-t
sneakey pete replied to blitz r33's topic in Forced Induction Performance
I was about to ask why bother reusing the old housing, but you answered that in your second post. I heard some rumors about garret coming out with a direct bolt on turbo soon, this true? -
EVO's and STI's run rather high boost though. Oh, that's true. but what i'm saying is, if they got a 10-15% performance increase on the RB25, they'd probably have something similar with the RB26 (they had bigger turbo's in r34 gtr's didn't they?)

Gtr Vs Gtst Huge Difference In Performance?
sneakey pete replied to boostin_r33's topic in Forced Induction Performance
Crap, don't mind me. I replied to page 1.... -
Think about it. The RB26 was 208KW 10 years before that engine, the rb25 was 180ish. In 10 years the rb25 goes up by 20KW, so i'd imagine that the r34 RB25 puts out more than the 208KW that they advertise.

Saw the car today, sitting in pride of place with a GTR at the Nissan/Datsun nationals. Bloody nice car.

should have saved for a Gtt...

First Batch Of Nissan R35's For Australia
sneakey pete replied to LSX-438's topic in VR Series - R35 GTR, Juke-R
2 pages back, http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/po...53-SNC00007.jpg looks like more than 4 there. -
Walked past a rather clean looking white R34 as it was heading out of the south of garden city this morning, about quarter past 7 this morning. got a nice stare from me as i was walking to the bus.
