  1. Yeah, I normally write date & km on a visible area or sticker. I started doing it a few years ago cos I had four cars & 2 motorbikes; its just too hard to remember otherwise. I also have a book with kays for tyre rotation, suspension and alignment settings. The m35 has service warnings in the pop up screen, so I use those for air, oil, gearbox and tyre rotation.
  2. Feel free to PM if you'd like a phone number, for when you're bored/drunk/lonely. At 3am. Symond seems to REALLY enjoy a chat.
  3. I'm pretty sure bbenny is running a Kakimoto. Quote from bbenny; Ive got the Kakimoto also. To be honest I have found any problems with scraping. Its the same under the car as the stock - the only bit that is lower is the tip, Ive scraped that a few times, but nothing bad. My brother has the Fujitsubo Legalis on his. I think its a much neater looking exhaust and the tip sits nice and high. But my car is faster and the only difference is exhaust! so maybe it flows better... Mine definitely sounds better Also, I think Just Jap do Kakimoto...
  4. This just in; got my first irate phone call from my mate . Apparently imports ARE expensive to repair. After an extensive chat; I politely asked that he refer any further correspondence to Shannons. He then (stupidly) asked "Why? What are you gonna do if I don't?" Guess whos getting 10 pizza's tonight? At 11pm... And every night this week. GAME ON, SYMOND.
  5. Err, no. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/352166-m35-engine-and-turbo-out/page__hl__m35+turbo http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/347043-turbo-for-m35/page__p__5587641__hl__m35+turbo__fromsearch__1#entry5587641 The second has some useful RECENT info. Cheers, Dale
  6. Check this out; http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/299513-m35-vq25det-runner-spacer/page__hl__m35+plenum+spacer
  7. $400? Bring it on, my good man!
  8. Try searching M35 turbo, I just did & it returned 319 results. Have a bit of a dig around and see if you can narrow down exactly what sort of end result you 're after. In a nutshell; no replacement unless you want to build a new exhaust manifold, high flow is the only other option.
  9. Wow, sure looks tidy in the pictures . I can understand why you want to ensure it's a good one before shipping interstate, but if I was going to trust anyone, based on reputation; I'd trust these guys. It's not local to me otherwise I'd look, but maybe one of the other guys can swing by and check it out. Good Luck
  10. Hi, whitestag. The hose with the red cable tie at the front of the plenum leads to the boost sensor for the dash display of Stageas with the single DIN 3 gauge pod above a single DIN stereo. Being that yours is an AXIS, & I assume it has the Bose audio package; it doesn't have the gauge cluster, & therefore doesn't need the boost sensor. This sensor only supplies the dash gauge; not the ECU. You could always use this barb to supply a dash mounted boost gauge if you wish to fit one. Hope this helps.
  11. Thanks Chuckie, my mum always said I was. Insult me if it makes you feel good, you've never even met me. I noticed you'd been up to some on yours lately; new rad & all, and looked with interest. I actually enjoy seeing what everyone is doing with their cars, especially when they have a win with something that's been giving them trouble. Even gave you a rep point the other day, cos you put some great info up. I'm just not interested in going back to the sledging bullsh#t again, its boring. Do what you're gonna do. Take it easy, Dale.
  12. *Note* All comments made with tongue FIRMLY in cheek.
  13. I've seen this AXIS a couple of times in the Lower Mountains too. Never in mine when I've spotted it though...
  14. Check my Sig for details...
  15. I'm a tight arse from waaaay back, would like to see what you can come up with, more choice is always a good thing. Mind you the dimensions of the HDI core are a VERY neat fit in the nose of the M35. Good luck.
  16. +1 Once the bars are listed as a stock item by Whiteline, they will be available. Wayne is already in contact with one of his dealers to help us with Group Buys. I have not forgotten that people want them, and I'm regularly in touch with Wayne to ensure we get them ASAP, AND at the best possible price. Whiteline are working hard to make sure they have a quality product for everyone, trust me. I know it's hard to be patient, but cracking the whip isn't likely get you far, as I've already invested plenty of my own time and effort in this. Also, I have a family, a job and a life outside the forum. I'm making NOTHING out of it, and I already have what I want; I'm just trying to help everyone. I promise; As soon as there is ANY information, it will be on the forum. Cheers, Dale.
  17. Andy makes some very interesting points; especially regarding purchases made at a higher exchange rate. I'd hate to be running any kind of business in Australia, if a comparable product could be brought in from the States, etc. You would just about be dead in the water right now. I buy virtually all of my bike & motorbike parts from outside Australia at the moment, the prices are routinely less than half that of the Australian item, sometimes closer to a third... The thing is, I'd actually buy more here if the retailers actually HELD STOCK in Australia, and I'll happily pay for good service. Instead, most of the time I get "We'll have to order it in" and after waiting WEEKS for simple parts like gaskets, I end up ordering over the net delivered for less than half, and delivered within DAYS For things that are being ordered on a Demand basis, the prices should reflect the current exchange rate, not the "We've been gouging you for years" price. If I can get a gasket for a current model bike from America, quicker than I can get it from my local dealer; something is bloody wrong. And lets not forget, the guy in America is obviously still making a profit; even though he's only charging $5 delivered against $15 from my local dealer. I think there are a lot of local businesses that are going to have to smarten up in the next few years, otherwise they may not last until our dollar value drops. I've not got a problem with anyone making money, but there are some businesses that have been making a killing for years that are not prepared to release the stranglehold on that profit margin AND supply quality customer service that keeps people coming back. I guess the lesson for everyone is to keep going to businesses who give good service and competitive prices locally, rather than just saving a buck. Support quality businesses in our local community, and our community stays strong. Otherwise the knowledgable experts end up leaving their chosen fields, and you no longer have any back up for the parts you saved a few bucks on. Something to think about, that's for sure...
  18. Or we could rename it Shut the f##k up, unless you've got something intelligent to add. Some people aren't happy unless they're the centre of attention, DO SOMETHING INTERESTING, AND WE'LL ALL LOOK; OK?
  19. +1 for mid march
  20. Wait until you feel the difference the dump/front pipe makes, it's quite amazing...
  21. Why not go drive it? You'll know straight away if you like the ride quality, if the car's as clean as you say, it may well be worth the extra spend.
  22. Fair enough, he used to have an amazing collection of Lotus 7's (used to punt one around Catalina) and Lotus Cortina's, was a wealth of knowledge with anything BMC.Helped me out innumerable times as an apprentice (no money), but haven't crossed paths with him for many years... Funny the things you remember when you see a picture. I digress, apologies for offtopic, back to the 34's!
  23. Loving the GTR's Terry! Is Geoff Wheeler still in the end workshop there at Valley Heights? Used to annoy the pants off him when I had my old Triumph...
