  3. update: got the car back form hyperdrive and its about 2/3 done, just need to iron out a few little issues. namely injector o-rings, 'cooler piping (keeps blowing off dammit) and a small boost problem. it made 212whp on 7psi, on a VERY basic tune, it has almost no ignition timing (less than 5deg across the board) its fine to drive around atm but needs to go back there in the new year for a final tune once i can fix the issues. so far (today) ive done the injectors, sorted out some decent cooler piping. but now is wants to idle at like 2.5k rpm, which is a Stinger problem, caused due to me taking off the IM (and throttle body), so the throttle needs to be re-calibrated, but ive got no idea how to do that, ill leave it for andrew to do... tune in mid January for a BIIIIG update (videos, dyno charts, etc...)
  4. yeh its bin busy, tonight 2 of the possible 4 3D sessions sold out and one of the 4 2D sessions sold out (mega stadium - 400ppl) id recommend seing it during the day or on a weekday night, cos yeh, if your sitting anywhere but the middle of the cinema (as opposed to left or right), the effects wont work as well...

  6. Can you give me a quote... Ive got that 300zx VG30DET turbocharger that i posted earlier, what would you charge for a highflow option for this? got my car tuned the other day, and seems a tad restrictive, so i think in the new year ill go for a highflow! also, the internal wastegate isnt holding boost down, its opening at 7psi, then it climbs to 10-11psi by redline. this turbo is strange, cos the internal wastegate is behind a flap, as the turbo outlet is a 4 bolt, so it cant flow enough gas out to hold boost down. what options do i have there? heres a pic: Thanks.
  7. Has anyone mentioned revenue raising yet? Ok, I will: Revenue Raising... IMO, the best way to save lives on our roads, is to increase driver training, drivers need to know how to handle a car, and what exactly it takes to crash it. Double demerits does sweet FA for making safer roads, more skilled drivers, safer roads. Completely agree. I don't need to mention the fact that cops have their own quotas to fill, and they wont stop at anything to get said stats on their reports. Silly us for thinking cops were around to keep us safe.

Thanks man, yeh it handles like a sack of shit lol but coilovers, a lowered ride height and a strut brace should fix that. im thinking some upgraded sway bars too, maybe just the rear to cut out that understeer if its not already fixed. Got a call from andrew today, and he said the car's all, running well minus a small throttle issue that i know how to fix (needs idle air re-learn) he was getting to tune it either this arvo or tomorro morning, either way, ill have it back on saturday, hopefully with about 250whp to go with it...

  15. last bump, item no longer for sale after tuesday. $165...
  16. pretty sure the inlet of the turbo is 56mm OD so a 2 1/4 coupler will fit it. and the throttle is 70mm and a 2 3/4 coupler will fit. Dont quote me, but im pretty sure theyr correct. go to super cheap and ask them to try a few sizes in the carpark, bring an 8mm ratchet with ya to get the hose clamps off.

  18. Update: Got a call from Hyperdrive today, apparently the EMS is out of date and needs to be sent to the eastern states for a software update. But before they figured this out, Andrew said they had full ignition signal (which is what I was worried about), plus a working Stinger, but still needed the new software. So it proves you can use a Stinger on an X-Trail! Gonna push the tuning back a few days, once the EMS gets back, its just a case of chucking it on the dyno and tuning it!

  20. yeh its hard to pick wheels for my car. hes a red example of drifteks on an x-trail... looks good but i think they would suit soooooo much better if it was lowered. when the turbo kits done, ill invest in some TE37s or drifteks at the same time as my coilovers. then ill slam it with the wheels = win (i think anyway...)
  21. hey can someone handy with photoshop edit these wheels onto my car please??? im getting these wheels in 18", and stockies are 16", so can someone make them look like their 18", not just 16"? and/or suggest some decent looking wheels for my car!?? thanks.

  23. been thinking about wheels lately... tyres arent a problem, i know i want at least 235mm width, and no smaller profile than 40%. thinking along the lines of 18"s, but need some input on what sorta style wheels to go for... im really confused, maybe some volk TE37 copies/drifteks/nismo LM GT4. something with large spokes and a fair bit of surface area, simplicity is the call for my car. 5/6 spokes max, no fiddly shit definitely in black though. i think black suits the look of my car, and id like a bit of dish too, but nothing huge... anyone got any ideas? (pref. with pics)... thanks.
