R33VSpec vs R34 Vspec diff My R33 GTR Vspec diff is shagged. Will an R34 GTR VSpec Diff fit in an R33 GTR VSpec bolt straight in and work? Thanks

@BirdsJust had a holiday down in Victoria and I was surprised to see so few Skylines! I was expecting to see heaps. Looooots of Euro cars though. Also, on a side note, WTF is the go with Victorians sitting in the RHLane all the time on Dual carriage ways? It was even worse than ACT which even here does my head in.

I just did a massive letter box drop throughout Tuggeranong (15,000 boxes) in the ACT on the Postie. The amount of R33 GTST's parked up in yards with grass growing through the wheels was out of control. I counted 13! No Joke! Another popular one to be 'parked up' was the 180sx. What I see on the roads are either pristine cars (rare) or complete shit heaps with F and F mods or paint faded and dings all over tailgating some poor sap. It's so sad considering they were $70K cars when new.

Thanks Zebra. TBH I would like something more heavily modified and ready to go. From experience, I know how much time and money it takes / costs to get something right, hence the slightly higher budget. What I really want is someones baby, who has built it and life circumstances have changed and now has to move on. I'm still Salty about that beautiful one (silver with bay done) which was sold in the ACT about 18months ago. Can't remember the rego, but there was a pic of it in-front of Waters Edge / the Lake / the flags in Canberra. That was super. I would prefer a big single already done, injectors, pump, diff etc. My understanding is the 2JZ is pretty unbreakable? so that is not a huge issue, but if done, it's a bonus. Must also be classy, and not FandF as you mentioned. What was the story with you giving up on them?

I want a long list of tasteful modifications. Must look stockish, but either go hard (400kw+) or have all the hard bits done and ready for Haltech and E85. Pref NSW rego. Will buy straight from Japan if needed. Business is good, and I have a 30K budget, but could go 35K if it was worth it as I know that spending an extra 5K will happen in no time as soon as I add E85... and I will. It will be an Investment that does mad skids. Yes, it will be tracked once every 3 months... TBH I'm pretty worries about blowing the RB26 when the 'Redmist' comes down. Oh Dear. I sent the ones I had and they did have numbers on the back along with a Nissan stamp. Don't know. Terry, if you don't want them, feel free to send them back, they came on the car as I bought it and as you can assume by the 'Nismo' I was certainly under the impression they were indeed 'Nismo' James

Should I try and swap the current Nismo end caps with someone for stock GT-R ones? I'm leaning that way. What do you think?

There is one in Fyshwick. I honestly thought it was an MX5 with an aftermarket body kit..... If it is the same price as an mx5 but you get a turbo, then why not?
