  1. Yep, keep reaching for the 98. Also I'd only buy fuel from a busy Shell, Caltex or BP. You want a busy one to ensure ready turnover of fuel.
  2. I reckon I made it through 15 minutes. Didn't like Chris Evans before, still don't. He was a poor choice.
  3. Have fun with that. 9.5 +22s are ideal. +0s will attract a lot of attention for all the wrong reasons.
  4. I just had the best idea for something you can give members who contributed - ad free SAU.
  5. Someone needs to teach them the old saying "In order to finish first, first you have to finish". I reckon there's a market for some tuners over there who have a clue. By the number of engines going pop, I can't help but think they don't actually know how to tune things properly.
  6. You're in the right place. 21U Highflow and Adaptronic ECU from Hypergear in Somerton. Injectors from Scotty. Get it fitted up in Dandenong at Forced Motorworx and tuned by Trent @ Status Tuning in Keysborough.
  7. How much do you have to spend and are you interested in something that needs a little work? By work I mean replacing front end parts damaged by a kangaroo, all of which I have ready to go.
  8. Struth, a run of bad luck, but your attitude is awesome. Onwards and upwards!
  9. Putting a time on the transfer is a very good idea.
  10. Looks good. Nice car and good plan
  11. That was a joint venture, not a mish-mash of two separate cars.
  12. Yes he can. He's an idiot. Removing the turbo does not make it legal for him to drive. It will, however, make it the slowest car in Melbourne. Let him buy it. Whatever happens next is his problem, not yours.
  13. That sucks You're in my area. Will keep an eye out.
  14. Not sure why he hasn't actually said engine, but I'm going to guess a YB* series Ford. Given his name, I'd say he owns an RS500.
  15. It'd look like a Legnum.... In other words aids.
  16. Stao, are you still offering Adaptronics to previous HG buyers for a discounted price? If so which version is it and how much? Cheers.
  17. Gah, I took a guess. I don't really know M35s. Thought I saw an ARX badge. I'm out on the road most days for work so leave home early and train at the closest Jetts to my first appointment. I was in Mordialloc first thing so Ringwood was most convenient. Shame I wasn't in the Stag this morning! Skippy saw to that. Fkn kangaroos.
  18. White M35 ARX with roof racks leaving Jetts in Ringwood this morning. I was in the black Pulsar who waited for you to to back out of your spot.
  19. I reckon Leroy is on the money. Imagine spinning a new RS into the gravel. Just think of those lovely sounds of stones hitting the underside of your new, shiny, $50k car. Wouldn't that be lovely.... Now put yourself in something that gets you around in relative comfort but is cheap and you don't really give two f**ks about. RX-8s are cheap as shit and plenty of parts around for them (ignore the rotary haters). Mini Cooper S are also cheap as and have a huge aftermarket. Would need heavily tinted windows when on the street, but it'd be a weapon on the track. Low K's Fiesta ST can be had for under $20k. XR-5 Focus can be had for the same, but a few more K's and I imagine repair costs when something breaks would be eye watering. A Manual FG XR6 (non-T) with under 50,000ks can be had for about $17k. A few grand for some big brakes, track spec wheels and rubber and a couple grand on some coilovers and that would be a weapon for a smidge over $20k. 350Z Tracks can be had for sub 20s with under 100,000ks. Lots of cool options.
  20. Serves you right for calling it a hood. Call it a bonnet and I would have sympathised with you and tried to find a solution.
