That'll buff out.

I think you're giving NISMO a bit too much credit. They are in the business of selling cars, not appeasing the truebloods. If it comes to fruition and is sold in both CVT and manual, they'll sell 25 CVTs for every manual they sell. If it's manual only, the people who would have preferred a CVT will shop elsewhere. CVTs have their place in cars the people actually buy.

If I had $600k to blow on a car I'd have the Juke over an R35 every day of the week.

I had the same thing happen to my Stag. I was sitting at the lights one day and it started running real rough. By the time I got home the car was real rough. I turned it off and it wouldn't start again. Checked this, that and the other, no good. Pulled the plugs and they looked OK, although a touch dirty. Changed them and bammo, car fine again.

Change your plugs. You may have fixed the issue but they are too far gone now.

I've been giving my a hiding and 25,000ks in so far so good. I've already gone through a set of rubber. It's the perfect gearbox for a daily. Super smooth and the manual mode allows it to act like a sequential box and have a bit of fun when I'm not stuck in traffic. It gets along quite well, too. For a weekender/track car, no thanks, give me a Manuel. But lets face it, 99.999999999999999999999999999% of Altimas, Maximas, Pulsars, Jukes etc that Nissan ever sell, regardless of badge, will only every be daily drivers. Mine's a SSS and will never see track time.

Have your changed the plugs?

I love the CVT in my Pulsar. I'd love a manual also, but I'm in traffic 99% of the time so I went CVT. It's good fun. I can play Mr Manual when I want a play or whack it into D when I don't. Driving the Stag to work today solidified my decision to go the CVT.

If you stop doing it and eat more energy than you expend, then of course. Results may vary, however I put weight back on quite slowly (about 6kgs in 8 months). The science suggests that it's not only good for weight loss but also very good for you.

Upgrading Injectors: Opinions

PM Scotty nm35. I got a quote of him a few months ago and they were $600 + del. The dollar has tanked since so this may have changed. -
Anyone here doing the 5-2 diet? I'm not one for dieting or fads, but gave it a crack last year and dropped about 10kgs in a couple of months. Stopped last October and crept back up about 6kgs between then and June this year. Back on it now and 4kgs have been shed. For those who aren't across it, the 5-2 is where you fast two days a week. Any two days are fine within a seven day period. It takes a bit of willpower but I find once I'm committed I find it easy. The rule is you're allowed 600 calories (500 for chicks) for the whole day. The other five days you're allowed to eat whatever you would normally eat. I find it kind of cool. At about 2pm I go through hyper mode and I can feel my core temp go right up and I start talking at a million miles an hour and can't sit down. I tend to just not eat on my fasting days (which are usually Mondays and Thursdays). There's a bit of science behind it. Michael Mosley, the guy who came up with the concept, did so after looking for a way to improve his health and lost weight. He came to 5-2 after trying all sorts of things including four straight days of fasting! Anyone else doing or done the 5-2? Results?

Internal. I thought you were going to send me the SAT version but don't actually know the difference.

Yep, is return flow. I'll check out that kit. It obviously has the flow I need so could be a good option. -

240kw at the rears. We think the cooler is not up to the job and the plugs are in the wrong heat range. I'll sort the plugs this weekend and start researching coolers. It's still got great punch and runs very sweet but I'm 70kw short of expectations. -
Takes me about 10 minutes tops to do a plug change on my RB25. I have standard side facing plenum. I don't run a valley cover. Your setup should get you what you want with a new turbo. Either a Garrett 3076 if you got the cash or I believe a Hypergear ATR43SS2 will get you there for a hefty dollar saving.

I've got an almost identical setup about to be strapped onto Trent's dyno. The only difference is I'm running 98 and will be leaving it RWD once it comes back. I'd love 350 but realistically expect somewhere around 310-320 which is pretty much smack on what you get (allowing that 30ish kw for e85). If I get that it'll be a job well done and what I expect. I think your results are pretty much smack on the money for your setup.
