  1. White C34. Followed him from Hurstbridge to the Ring Road. I was in a black Pulsar. I own the yellow C34 that you saw the other day.
  2. A daily or toy? I've been contemplating moving mine on. It's not really suitable for a daily unless you're a sadist. It is, however, the perfect base for a weekender. It does have a few issues, however. It had a tree fall on it so some dings on the roof, bonnet and front left guard. It also needs new bearings somewhere (not sure if alternator, PS pump or something else) and a couple of other little bits and pieces. Otherwise it's very solid and quite stout with 235rwkw (I have removed the front prop shaft) now and capacity in turbo, injectors etc for 300+. All it needs is a new FMIC. I would want the upper end of your budget, however. I've pumped nearly $10k into recently (turbo, injectors, clutch, fuel pump, coilpacks, big brakes, wheels and tyres) so would want to recover this. Sound like something you might be interested in? Oh, it's yellow, too. I'm not set on selling it, but it is something I'm considering. I have no need to sell, but my want for another Datto 1600 is extreme and I don't think I can convince the missus to let me own three cars and two motorbikes. Something has to go first.
  3. Go Hypergear. Quality gear, great value and Stao is terrific to deal with. I've got the ATR43 G4. Currently intercooler limited @ 240rwkw. Plenty left in it. Hoping for 310ish once I settle on a new cooler. It's a big turbo so comes on late, but I have no issue with it as it's on my toy car. If it was on my daily I would go the SS2.
  4. I reckon it'd be cheaper, and probably faster and easier, to get the car to one of the many reputable mechanics around Melbourne and get a new head gasket installed then drive the thing home.
  5. I've got a CVT and love it.....but that's my daily which spends 90 of it's life in stop start traffic. Otherwise give me stick. A car has to have a fun pedal.

  7. Absolutely shit house. Sorry mate, but it looks tacky and is a horrible combo. I have nothing against pink, per se, but to whack some random pink shit over your car looks shit.
  8. Concept Concave CC02 with Nankang NS2R rubber.
  9. OK, ended up with 18x8.5 +15 fronts with 235 40s and 18x9.5 +32 on the rear running 265 35s. Fit is perfect. I had them roll the guards while I was there for a bit of extra room. It is rubbing somewhere but I I'm not sure where yet. It's looks perfect!

  12. It's not the fitment I'm concerned about, more the rubber. It's at 230rwkw now and the 235s on it now struggle. Once I decide on a new intercooler and get it back to Trent for a tune it should be north of 300 and 235s will not stand a chance. I've converted to RWD so need 265s to tame the rear.
  13. You are legendary. Going by those pics they'll fit, although the clearance between the inner tyre and strut will be a bee's dick. Worst case I have some 5mm spacers to give a tad more clearance. Not ideal, but the car is just a cruiser so no biggie.
  14. Righto, I've been looking and reading and looking and calculating some more and I've settled on 18x9.5 +15 with 265/35s all round on an S2 C34 RS4S. It's running Bilsteins and it's got a fair bit of low installed but by my calcs they'll fit properly, without having to resort to crap camber to make them clear the struts. Can anyone spot anything I might be missing?
  15. +1 forced motorworx Donny recently had my Stag in for a fair bit if work and I was very happy with everything.
  16. Got measurements on those wheels and did they require guard work? Also auto or manuel?
