  1. I agree....that would make more sense.....but try it anyway
  2. Yes, and it is actually fairly common. It's likely to be a problem with earthing of the pump unit or the computer in the boot. Most often it is the pump unit because people forget to put the additional earth straps back on when they take the subframe out (eg replacing bushes)
  3. actually you might have a point there....you wrote cold and I saw flu as if there is no such thing as a cold
  4. pm sent Mik. Shell...sounds like man flu. harden up.
  5. I'm heading back and forward each week if you want me to drop it off to them
  6. I needed to get the Cima boot redone this morning so I got a mobile guy out to regas them. He quoted $99 front or rear to replace or regas the stagea ones as well. So if you need fronts, go to ebay, if you need rears in Sydney Edward Sing Gas Strut recharge 0418 807 658
  7. Arrrrr. That be unburnt fuel be burning in the zorst. It be good fun me hearties!
  8. Definitely Terry at Award Gearboxes and Diffs in Seven hills. They do a heap of skyline stuff, I've had them do 2 diffs and 3 gearboxes over the years. Cheap, good, no bullshit.
  9. No need to replace them, mobile regassing guys can just regas what you have already.
  10. well the blitz coilovers are OK, in that they are monotube, not twin tube. But I think they are a generic brand with a blitz sticker on them these days. I have a set in my leaf and they seem good for daily use. swaybars on the other hand I can't really help. Most cars here use a local brand, whiteline. Cusco is the only jp brand I am really familiar with, they make a nice, light bar but are not adjustable so you have to choose the right one when you purchase welcome to the world of skylines
  11. funny you should say that; I spent last weekend planting veggies up here in 31 degree heat.... Is it right there are 2 long weekends in a row, 2 weeks from now?
  12. meh I'm willing a couple of bucks for a new race track. Crowdfunding site is here: http://gogetfunding.com/project/casar-park-community-motor-sport-facility. I've just booked into their first track day. CAMS article on the track is here: http://www.cams.com.au/media/news/latest-news/creating-casar-park
  13. all sorted now, turns out a lot of the Nissan dealers think they can't do imports just got a local guy back home to do the discs and turn the light out at the same time. it was an AFM warning but I am 99% sure it was only because I unplugged it while f**king around with the headlights BTW is it me or did winter just start again?
  14. where do I send my $10? Ready and waiting
  15. if you've got doubts about it, just don't do any launches and take gear changes a bit easier (ie don't power shift). Most driveline shock happens when you suddenly put power through it rather than just accelerating in gear.
  16. not dummies. we've just had 2 really wet years followed by an upcoming hot summer. they need to do something before it gets very serious later in the year
  17. hope you get it back on track quickly to get some seat time. surely fatz has about 80 axles you could choose from
  18. you know...I might just have been unlucky, but I have one of those, not too much use (just home, not workshop) and it is leaking. Really not what I was expecting for the price.
  19. Paid for Kel and I this morning....sorry for being late
  20. ahh cool, I assumed it was knock off software. I'll give it a go I think.
  21. local retail on the HKS link is $229. I'll check a jp price at that cost. I've not had any luck with an ELM/Bluetooth adapter on any import. Scott, is the software for the china-sult all English? ie can work through everything, just not intuitive? How well does it support the range of settings in each car that you have tried?
  22. That's a damn good question - I lost an (expensive) engine when the shop removed the screen from the filter, and a cam baffle bolt came loose and made it's way into the pump intake.
  23. cool I'll give phillip a go
  24. are either Nissan dealer in town OK? that would be a quick way to get a consult on the car?
  25. yeah I had the same with my Bluetooth ODB, I think the Cima has JODB not ODB2. Thanks anyway
