  8. damn....I thought everyone made it in 1 piece this time! Good thinking, it was a nasty spot. For those who want to join the club, including the guys in the silver r33, the form and details are here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/44115-sau-nsw-club-membership-faq/ Hope to see you next time
  9. OMG I spotted a red C34 and a gunmetal M35 on the putty rd yesterday. no green C34 which was unusual?
  10. Great turn out, about 70 cars at the meeting point. I hope the brake lock up when we all had to stop didn't lead to any bent panels....that was a nasty place to have to stop.

  13. agreed totally....pretty big call to ask for payment after you have just borken the thing you were paid to remove!
  14. can't see why not.....AFAIK the neo bottom end is the same, the changes are in the head.
  15. yes exactly right - up until now it has been a production car race (not improved production). This year they invited GT cars to increase the grid, but a lot of the production cars dropped out because of that.
  16. in case posting up is OK....it is the attessa (4wd) resoviour, and takes auto trans fluid. but check the levels carefully, max level is about halfway up the container
  17. do I have to pm if i know?
  18. I've just used a permaseal one, and have used cometic in the past. no sign of trouble with either
  19. yeah lsd oil in normal diff is ok. normal oil in lsd diff is not
  20. we'll be rolling the cube up there, hope you guys can keep up. see y'all in the morning
  21. spot on....in fact I have seen water temps at 130 with a 1.3 bar cap. Obviously it boils immediately the cap opens. But anyway.....the bottom line is that the skyline cooling system is reasonable even in a hot climate....so you do not need any more than what the factory specifies (coolant and a 0.9 bar cap). If you have heat problems with the standard setup on the street there is something wrong with the system, and changing coolants will only mask the real issue. Look into cleaning or replacing the radiator, and make sure the water pump is good. Even more important, if you have changed the coolant before it started getting hot make sure it was bled properly.
  22. BTW I should add that glycol does have a role....it adds the anti-freeze ability. When we are going to goulburn in winter we change back to coolant, the extra cooling isn't really important that time of year anyway . I just assumed that wasn't an issue for you in the caribeean but it might be for others reading
