I saw a preview on A Current Affair that will air on wednesday 15th feb about how everyone should contest speeding fines. The police have apparently not been looking after their gear and everyone can now get off... bla bla bla. I am sure it will be spectacularised and not the entire truth but may be worth watching.

i think its a repeat story of something they had a while ago about a certain type of radar gun being faulty or not properly calibrated

in NSW if i remember correctly....

Yeh I remember that one last year

i only got one point left aswell :P

Apparently there is a new angle. This from our radar expert on the Roadsense discussion group.

"There will be a segment on Section 10 of The National Measurement Act 1960 re Traffic cases on a Current affair channel 9 Wednesday nite.

It is a very important subject which the system has been avoiding."

hahahaha you me and everyone else with an import!!!

Not EVERYONE! My last contribution to the state's coffers was back in 2003, and I don't remember the one before that, so I probably have them all available.

But I'll still be watching.

    • Wanna rewrite all of that in, say, 2 or 3 separate sentences, so that we can read it?
    • Just yesterday the car started to shake a bit when idle. So tomorrow ima test the some wires and packs with the multimeter and see what it is. Hopefully is a pack because thats the easiest thing to buy same day here where I live in the USA.
    • shot myself in the leg and now last night I have shaking when I idle lol
    • I'm not a big fan of the Cometic gaskets either, as above the head and deck need to be like a mirror (can't remember the RA) so Kamieri sounds like a good idea.  FWIW a mate of mine hordes old motor stuff and has some blank unground Nizmo cams for one of these in his supply if random shit if you're interested.
