i hate sick bastards that rape and kill an 8 yr old girl

ohh and kidney stones

one of the closest things (in terms of pain) that a bloke can get to childbirth

(along with kidney stones, torsion is another thing that is very painful)

There is a place down the road that imports R32s and some mercedes. What shits me is that when they move the cars from inside the workshop to outside, instead of letting them warm up like a smart person would they rev the tits out of it from cold! Like constantly on red line! And THEN, instead of letting it idle they just turn the car off! I feel so sorry for the people like you or I about to buy these cars which are inevitably going to have problems..

Even worse though.. A brand new 2006 Ford GT was following me, I gave him shit, etc etc, ended up pulling over and having a kind word. Turns out he works for Ford and he drives one of the cars home. Which will end up being sold to someone. This guy was thrashing the f**k out of the car! It hadn't even been run in it! EVEN then, even worse! What I described with the R32s.. Holden and Ford do with BRAND new cars! Haven't been run in! Before people test drive them they "warm them up" by starting them, constantly red lining them then turning em off!

People wonder why these new Holdens and Fords are f**king up so often! It's because of these dumb arse salesmen f**king up the motors during the run in phase! Poor people! Any one of us could buy one of these "f**ked from the start" cars! That REALLY grinds my gears!

what really grinds my gears is cops...and the cocky way they drive. 8/10 (its the female cop drivers that are softer) coppers will always literally floor their cars when the lights go green. and when we do it...oh we ARE racing etc etc hooning etc etc.. the worse offenders are the unmarked police cars...there is a reason why your department now only issues u guys with v6's!! idiots.

f**kING PETROL PRICES. Let me repeat the million times done argument again.

It can take 10 weeks for prices to come down 10 cents per litre. (that's just being general, I can't remember regular ULP being below $1.30 for ages now)

It can take 24 HOURS to go UP 10 cents per litre.

The fuel companies "blame" this on the price of oil.

Now, for a big jump like this, the price of oil has to have jumped very high as well, not only a couple of dollars a barrel as it does. But when the reverse happens and the price goes down, does the price of fuel drop 10 cents?

Does it f**k.

Yes I just paid $1.51 a litre for Ultimate today, no-one give me the cheaper than bottled water/coke thing either, because I do agree with that but it's annoying that you see you're spending $50 for petrol & you have barely got 30L into your car.....

Yeh I hate people that thrash cars when they're cold, have some mechanical sympathy FFS.

Fuel prices shit me too, how does fuel that's already in the country when the price for barrel in the Middle East goes up, that fuel won't get here from 2 weeks or so, so why the fark does the fuel still in use go up, it total BS

People say if you don't want to pay lots for petrol buy a Shoebox car, the point is your shoebox may cost an extra $15 a week to fillup no matter what.

If i drive a v8 i get 450km to a 60L tank if i drive a toyota echo i get 540km to a 40l tank, if fuel goes up 15c a litre am i still paying extra for fuel no matter waht car i drive.

And that people is what grinds my gears.

On the news last night there was a foreign guy predicting $6 a litre petrol prices. Dunno when they will get there but that may take oil companies income to over US1 f**king lot of dollars per year.

So what grinds my gears is 'price of fuel bitchez' >_<

Shouldn't what grinds your gears be the price of school fees, tuition and childcare?

great... better start saving for 5-10-15 years time...

i agree with dan, i let plenty of ppl in and they dont say thanks or anything...

in japan there's plenty of roads where there's no middle line cos it's too narrow to fit permanent two way traffic, so one lets the other through if he/she sees them coming. They actually honk back as a form of thanks... rezz? reading this?

The Middle East grinds my gears, just kiss and make up ffs! the gaza strip isn't worth fighting for, all the fighting that's already happened means it's f**ked!

oh yeh, my main problem with it is that it gives an excuse for petrol co's to rise the price again

    • Have a look at that (shitty) pic I posted. You can see AN -4 braided line coming to a -4 to 1/8 BSPT adapter, into a 1/8 BSPT T piece. The Haltech pressure sender is screwed into the long arm of the sender and factory sender (pre your pic) into the T side. You can also see the cable tie holding the whole contraption in place. Is it better than mounting the sender direct to your engine fitting......yes because it removes that vibration as the engine revs out 50 times every lap and that factory sender is pretty big. Is it necessary for you......well I've got no idea, I just don't like something important failing twice so over-engineer it to the moon!
    • Yup. You can get creative and make a sort of "bracket" with cable ties. Put 2 around the sender with a third passing underneath them strapped down against the sender. Then that third one is able to be passed through some hole at right angles to the orientation of the sender. Or some variation on the theme. Yes.... ummm, with caveats? I mean, the sender is BSP and you would likely have AN stuff on the hose, so yes, there would be the adapter you mention. But the block end will either be 1/8 NPT if that thread is still OK in there, or you can drill and tap it out to 1/4 BSP or NPT and use appropriate adapter there. As it stands, your mention of 1/8 BSPT male seems... wrong for the 1/8 NPT female it has to go into. The hose will be better, because even with the bush, the mass of the sender will be "hanging" off a hard threaded connection and will add some stress/strain to that. It might fail in the future. The hose eliminates almost all such risk - but adds in several more threaded connections to leak from! It really should be tapered, but it looks very long in that photo with no taper visible. If you have it in hand you should be able to see if it tapered or not. There technically is no possibility of a mechanical seal with a parallel male in a parallel female, so it is hard to believe that it is parallel male, but weirder things have happened. Maybe it's meant to seat on some surface when screwed in on the original installation? Anyway, at that thread size, parallel in parallel, with tape and goop, will seal just fine.
    • How do you propose I cable tie this: To something securely? Is it really just a case of finding a couple of holes and ziptying it there so it never goes flying or starts dangling around, more or less? Then run a 1/8 BSP Female to [hose adapter of choice?/AN?] and then the opposing fitting at the bush-into-oil-block end? being the hose-into-realistically likely a 1/8 BSPT male) Is this going to provide any real benefit over using a stainless/steel 1/4 to 1/8 BSPT reducing bush? I am making the assumption the OEM sender is BSPT not BSPP/BSP
    • I fashioned a ramp out of a couple of pieces of 140x35 lumber, to get the bumper up slightly, and then one of these is what I use
    • I wouldn't worry about dissimilar metal corrosion, should you just buy/make a steel replacement. There will be thread tape and sealant compound between the metals. The few little spots where they touch each other will be deep inside the joint, unable to get wet. And the alloy block is much much larger than a small steel fitting, so there is plenty of "sacrificial" capacity there. Any bush you put in there will be dissimilar anyway. Either steel or brass. Maybe stainless. All of them are different to the other parts in the chain. But what I said above still applies.
