Damn Mikey, not good at all mate, glad you're all right and still have possession of your car tho.

I've been jumped before and it's no fun, was 3 on 1 and I threw them out of the pub earlier that night.

Did exactly the same as you mate, threw the first punch(may as well get the first one in if it's gonna happen) only I had a bottle lol, broke it on the first guys head and cleaned up the other two, I was lucky.

Hope it's not too bad man, make sure you pass the details to chubbs or if not I'll be in for helping you with some street justice :)

Hope you get better soon mate, I'll drop in if I get the chance to see how you are and I'll see you back on the Thursday cruises soon.

***Wild supposition alert.

Northern beaches, the new Macquarie Fields.

Bad luck man. I got got jumped by two guys once a few years ago. I couldn't really do much cos I was still recovering from a broken pelvis I got in a car crash, had only been walking for about a 3 weeks so still very slowly and painfully. I got one of them good but the other was a trained boxer and smashed me.

Well done on keeping your car man.

very sorry to hear that mate. :D glad you are ok, and your car is ok. next beer is on me. and definately report it to the cops. it doesn't matter if you through a punch or not.

Not true - if they were threatening you it's not necessary to wait until they attack. Generally when you are in fear of bodily harm you have a right to defend yourself.

Even if you error on the side of protection, as the saying goes " I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6".

if your car is insured.....why not just give them the keys and head off to the cop shop.

Its not worth dying for an insured car. Probably not worth dying for an uninsured car either.

I agree with Duncan on that .Being a father with 2 boys or should i say young men both with performance cars skyline's and wrx I would rather them hand over the keys than have them seriously injured or killed which in this day and age appears to happen to often.property can be replaced you can't

oh i totally agree. had they of had a weapon then i woulda just said here u go, cause i know i can hold my own against 2 people and any more i would have again said here u go

Mike, you better be reporting this to the police, if you dont your mad.

Situations like this show where tracking and remote immobilisers/engine shut off come in handy.

Give them the keys, let them go, ring the police immediately and let them have the engine disabled.

North Shore has some interesting mix of people around.. Killara/Gordon - just have to be careful, especially late @ night, sometimes they hassle people just for shits and giggles..

Anyways, glad you got out of it alright.. If you know who they are, go to the police and report them.. Goto be careful as they might not have been visibly carrying weapons but some people along that line have no issues hiding them and using them on you..

I live in turramurra, luckily, i know all the dodgy c**ts in my area, so i could ID them... but anywhere else, and i would be f**ked...

I nearly got jumped by two f**kwits once, but it was in Seven Hills, that kind of shit is to be expected...

I also have one f**king expensive alarm system... but i cant fight for shit... unless theres only one guy, and im somewhat larger then him, im f**ked...

Man i never knew my area was like that :P

and i carry a bar in the car... its chrome...

i know i dont really know you, but i hope your ok, and well done on keeping your shit... If you want some muscle, i know some people... some big people... and ill bite their shins too :)

      Power steering is probably because someone has nuked the HICAS CU and you no longer have the variable power asist doing what it is supposed to. How much boost are you running? You are aware that any more than 10 psi on the stock ECU is just asking for it to go to full R&R (that's Rich & Retard, which is effectively Retarded and Retarded!) which kills all the power. Depending on the exact conditions, it can just be runnign on the fat and stupid end of the maps, then the conditions change, you make a little more boost and the ECU goes into panic.

I have them too on my RB25DET NEO and as a GTSboy i have fmic but with stock piping route(i have Blitz intercooler) Iam making around 320 BHP and the car pulls "hard" from like 2,5k all the way to 7k. I have it dyno tuned to mimic N/A power curve and making little less max torque due to the smallbox tranny. But driveability is very great. I had 350Nm below 3k so car feels very quick.

      Looking to sort out a couple of issues on my skyline  It recently was rebuilt, however rebuilder long story short did not give two flying effs about the work he did. So moving forward it's running but I have two persistent issues 1) it has a misfire / lag type of issue (was at higher RPMs but I had a dead piggy back ecu removed which improved it) now it's not as bad but still does it at random, I thought it may have been a boost issue I'm running an older turbosmart dual stage controller, turbosmart told me to try running off gate pressure however it still has a lag at random times. It has New MAF, maf plug, coil packs, sparks, CP harness.. injectors tested and cleaned. Factory ECU. 2) Power steering issue. It is tight as anything. Flushed power steering, rebuilt my pump because the bearing was shot. Flushed again still tight (mainly when parking and going slow into my driveway etc)  No kinks in hard lines, replaced the lines I could see had cracks. Still tough to steer.  I was told to shim a coin and place into the solenoid plug? Is there anything else. My steering angle sensor also has a issue. It's a used one I replaced, does it need to be calibrated? I feel like I've tried everything and this car is my voodoo doll.

      One main filter. Each tank has a prefilter to keep rocks and small children out, then the big main filter that also does water separation. Clogged the first one so bad it was like a rev limiter at 3200rpm. Literally just like dropping the throttle off and maintaining rpm!
