Why You Shouldnt Lighten Your Stock Flywheel :o

Recommended Posts

it should also be titled. why not to use a stock flywheel with a heavy duty clutch. all these combos are a recipe for disaster.

this now has me quite worried

i have the following clutch installed with my stock flywheel!

unless your stock flywheel has been lightened (ie. had a fair amount of its mass taken out) you'll be fine at moderate power levels.

side stepping = dumping the clutch.
