Talk it up.......

Is this the new track that was supposed to be built or the old hill climb track?

Anyone got a plan of the layout if it is the new track?

I actually might have ny gearbox done by then...FINALLY...then I can hack around behind all the ultra quick GTR's.

LOL - thanks West - fixed.

Its Friday and all I can think about is leaving work and finding a nice cold beer.

And Nick - its being held at the old Morwell Hill Climb Circuit - the new track has not been finished yet.

so is it hill climb or a sprint? as the sup regs say its a hill climb. seeing its not on their forums yet, does anyone know approx how many runs will each person get.

will there be any driver training or actually is there any point of driver training?

Unless you have read something i havnt seen, you dont need special tow hooks, the ones on your car are fine.

Last point after Vehicle equipmen and safety. page 3.

and point e)? What sort of clear adhesive do you guys use on the headlights.

I'm thining of entering the Gemini, since the GTR is going to be off the road for a bit.

My advice is do not do this day unless you are completly comfortable in your car. Don't do this event if you havn't done a few track days before.

There is not much room for error.

FYI, we'll be running a new course on the old track.

Starting on the National Circuit heading up hill towards the bridge, you'll turn right and go anticlockwise around the keyhole before heading up the straight around the bend and down the 'S' to the finish.

8 people so far! LOL

I'm out. I really wanted to do Morwell before if shut down but I've still got this pesky ear infection and I'm not about to try and drive fast anywhere whilst my balance is all out of whack.

Jeez, not very popular this year! I liked Morwell, though it did cost me a clutch, a gearbox and a hell of a drive back to the workshop! :P

I liked it too except I wasn't driving and we had to get up at 5am and It was a HELL of a drive back to the workshop, I think you banned me from speaking for most of the trip back!! And we saw that yellow TMU car which was scary And we had no ciggarettes and couldn't stop because the car wouldn't make it back if we did!

Fun drive.... hehe :)

    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
    • Not to mention they drive like a bucket of bolts! yuck!
    • Ha ha ha, that's fair mate! We have the crackhead dogs now. Mainly because the missus wants the crazy dogs while she still has the energy and capacity to be able to keep up with them! Ha ha our current two are both Working GSD, there brothers and sisters (from the same litters) are in Police, Corrective Services, and I believe one did end up in defence force too. They're wild and fun, yet right now, both curled up asleep on the lounge room floor while we watch some TV. Mal is very likely the next dog (unless I get my couch potato guardian dog 😛 )   What are your Kitties names? Are you planning some house work, like those high kitty shelves, built in scratching post, and some cat passages from one room to another room?
    • Maine Coone, did look at but to big and fluffy As for performance dogs, we had Mals at work, performance dogs are fun to watch, but, way to much work for this old rooster
