Number Plates

Hey guys

Ive been meaning for ages to get some plates from japan for my r32, not really fussed on the style/whatever aslong as it says 32

Can anyone on here help out?

i thought of this aswell, maybe even just getting some mock up ones made with my current rego, but in a Jap format, would look good for track days/DECA/show'n'shine etc.

Is there somewhere that does it as a tourist/novelty kind of thing? we sell heaps of australiana and number plates and signs etc in all the "aussie" shops you see, surely they have the same over there?

They are easy to get.

But they wont be Official plates. You CANNOT get official plates because they have to be handed in at the end of ownership to pass to the new owner. Anyone that does this is doing something naughty. Still, when has the law always ever been correct and who am i to quote it?

The stuff you see and is "legally" easy to get is more like the mockup Japanese style license plates we see every event over here at D1

Im sure ive seen plates with R32 on sale there.

TAS is on this weekend but im going skiing. Im sure there are TONS of people from SAU that are going and can get you set to pack in the return luggage.

yeah they always sell fake japanese plates at TAS and nismo festival etc. you can get ones with R32, or RB26 or GTR etc on them. they are not cheap though, I think around 5,000 JPY each from memory.

price is about right...cant remember off hand exactly but they had rows of them in any config you could want and that with added security from a legal standpoint.

I secured legit R35 plates in S.A if anyone is interested by the way!

I had somone take a set off plates of a car for me an post them... Ive had idoits offer me $500 for something thats nothing more then $5 tin.

I plan on keeping them
