from the information i have your DETECTED speed on laser has to be 6k+ and on fixed cameras 8k+ mobile camera's are the exception, have heard of them booking you for 6k+.

Obviously cops have discretion to book you for a lower speed but i have not heard of many ppl being done for under 6k over on there detected speed, even then theres no guarantee that there not reading the alleged speed.

its 3km/h. because a couple years back i got a letter saying i was doing 78 in a 70 zone and it has written -3km/h or something like that. in the bottom line it said 5km/h over the limit or 75km/h, i cant remember exactly.

my mum got the letter first because it was in her car lol.

its definately -3... the look on the coppers face when he had to take my 121 in an 80 zone down to 118 was priceless as he had just spent 2 minutes going on and on and on about how i would lose my lisence for 6 months.... only lost it for 1 :D

and that was about 6 years agon on sth rd @ 4am btw

comming home from work down bell street had a white r33 pull out from maccaz and the turn off onto the burgandy street exit - i drove past while they were waiting to turn - looked very clean

Saw a black r34 gtt heading bak on sunbury road.

Had a SAU sticker on the passenger rear window...

i was in the 32...

Drakey, were u the guy who walked into BigW last weekend in Sunbury and recieved a compliment for a 'nice R32' from one of the girls standing at the entrance..?

I see an admin edit coming......

too right :D

spotted MRGTSR looks rice with the big wing but i think the brembo's suggest there is more to this car than rice.

bright green/yellow HR31?

Its just got a R34 Neo motor i believe

was he after a happy ending?

no idea maybe he was looking for a 24 hour krispy kreme store. all i knew was i shut my gate while he was in still @ the start of my drive way LOL

    • Welcome to Skyline ownership. Yes, it is entirely possible parts websites get things wrong. There's a whole world of inaccuracies out there when it comes to R34 stuff (and probably 33 and 32). Lots of things that are 'just bolt on, entirely interchangable' aren't. Even between S1 and S2 R34's. Yes they have a GTT item supposedly being 296mm. This is incorrect. I would call whoever you got them from and return them and let them know the GTT actually uses 310mm rotors. Depending on where you got them from your experience and success will obviously vary.
    • Hi...a bit a "development" on the brakes. I spoke to the guys where i get brakes from...and they are saying that 296mm EBC are for R34 GT-T. I then went to their site: https://www.ebcbrakes.com/vehicle/uk-row/NISSAN/Skyline (R34)/ and search for my car(R34 GT 1998 - it has GTT brakes) and it show me this USR1229 number and they are rly 296mm rotors... So now iam rly confused... The rotors i have now on the car are 310mm asi shown... So where is the problem? Does the whole EBC got it wrong or my calipers are just...idk know what?
    • Oh What the hell, I used to get a "are you sure you want to reply, this thread is XX months old" message. Maybe a software update remove that. My bad.
    • This is a recipe for disaster* Note: Disaster is relative. The thing that often gets lost in threads like this is what is considered acceptable poke and compromise between what one person considers 'good' looks and what someone else does. The quoted specs would sit absurdly outside the guards with the spacers mentioned and need  REALLY thin tyres and a LOT of camber AND rolling the guards to fit. Some people love this. Some people consider this a ruined car. One thing is for certain though, rolling the guards is pretty much mandatory for any 'good' fitment (of either variety). It is often the difference between any fitment remotely close to the guards. "Not to mention the rears were like a mm from hitting the coilovers." I have a question though - This spec is VERY close to what I was planning to buy relative to the inboard suspension - I have an offset measuring tool on the way to confirm it. When you say "like a mm" do you mean literally 1mm? Or 2mm? Cause that's enough clearance for me in the rear :p I actually found the more limiting factor ISNT the coilover but the actual suspension arms. Did you take a look at how close those were?
    • @GTSBoy yeah sorry i know thery are known for colors bud those DBA are too in colors 🙂 Green will be good enough for me
