Fastest in what?

0-100 Km/h?

Quater mile?

Couldn't tell you who's the fastest but from memory WHEELS and SPEED Magazine did an artical on the R32 GTR and they ran 0-100Km/h in 5.3 secs and 13.7sec down the quater mile.

Car was stock.

But there have been websites say the R32 GTR can run 0-100Km/h in 4.9 sec and a quater mile in 12.8 secs.

Iam sure its posible but I will need some publication proof not some website made by GTR fans.

Would an N1, using... N1 turbos be classed as stock?

R32 N1 turbos or R34 N1 turbos?

R34 N1 turbos are pretty much the same as 2530's and Paul did 10.something on a pair of them.

Does that count?

Cheers

Gary

i think he means on the stock ceramic turbos...I have seen them doing mid 11's at 18psi...although a bit risky.. all you would need is a decent clutch, power fc, boost controller and maybe a bigger fuel pump/injectors/am AFM and decent rubber...redline clutch dump and hang on!

11.57 @ 117.89mph

Standard everything except exhaust (front pipes too), cam gears, air filters, clutch and some more boost.

Think you need to sign up though to view it.

ps xklaba that's some crazy mph with standard turbos. You sure they're standard?

Yeah sure, Nissan made R32's, R33's and R34's in N1 Race Versions.

Wheels Magazine tested the R34 GTR V-Spec II Nur and the did a quater mile of 12.1 secs

I would not bother boosting the stock R32 and R33 turbos due to it being ceramic.

Best I've got from stock Ceramics was 11.6

If N1's are like 2530's then low 10's :D

11.36 would be the fastest ive heard of...i think i ran around 11.6 in a mates car at WSID with stockers. Quite embarrising for him as his best was 12.1 :)

I think dipping into 11's on stock ceramics is pushing it though. Wasn't long after this one spat on of the wheels :)

I guess in 2WD on slicks with a stripped car etc etc you could do low 11's maybe even 10s.

    • Yea - I mean I've seen my fuel pump which is decades old and uh, while I'm not saying this with real knowledge... but I sure get the ick at using anything in the fuel system that produced the state of that pump. Many years ago I went through multiple pumps (and strainers) before I dropped the tank to clean it out with extreme violence. I'm talking the car would do maybe 50km before coming to a halt, which resulted in me cleaning out the filter with some brake cleaner and going on my way. None of my stuff ever looked like what came out of your fuel tank. I don't think I'd be happy with it unless every single component was replaced (or at least checked/cleaned/confirmed to be clean here).
    • I'm not going to recommend an EBC pad. I don't like them. Just about anything else would suit me better. I've been using Intima pads for a while now.
    • Agreed, and in particular the earth strap that should go from the subframe to the chassis but it often broken or left off. There is a section in the R32 workshop manual you can follow for troubleshooting if you don't see anything suspicious, and depending where you are (there is no location on your user profile) you should be able to get your hands on a second hand replacement unit still if needed
    • Yeah they mention as a R34 for 2.5 Turbo...but then again thos "small" were also for R34 by that different site. But i look into it and that 310mm EBC is for R34 GTT. And by those you linked the specs are the same 🙂    EDIT: I found these on one site here: DBA 4000 series T3 DBA42304S They are 310mm...and it says are for R34GTT...are there good? EDIT2: ok they have pads too.  What "color" should i get for street use? I dont want/need some noisy ones...(and if they are not that dusty that is good too)
    • Yeah, shame. Maybe  driver's carpet is available 🙏. I am waiting for both amayama and nangun to confirm.
