Thanks for all the positive feedback guys! Stoked to hear your thoughts.

No its not from Zele-international... whomever they are.

Yeah it is one of the nicest condition imports inside and out that i have ever come across - even underneath is immaculate. Im inclined to believe that the 65,000km are genuine. There is no wear and tear on the seats at al, the brake rotors arent worn any more than youd expect for the km, no indication of anything being pulled off the motor (ie marks on boltheads/screw etc) and the stock radio hasnt even been removed ever. Very honest car.

Cant wait for the next cruise! Hopefully i can KEEP the bloody thing - missus is hounding me to buy a house! I'll know within 6 weeks if im putting it straight on the market for an even $30k or keeping it. Women.

Terrific car. If it were on the market in NZ I would seriously consider selling my house to buy it!

standard turbs... actually i guess the boost comes on early enough going by the guage, its just it doesnt start making serious mumbo till high in the rev range.

Thanks Unique1 (i can remember your last few usernames but not ur actual name haha)

I share your opinion on the bulky autech kit - seemed a bit large but still understated and bland compared to some of the other kits out there. I still dont like the side skirts at all - so if comeone has a set of Nismo or nismo replica sideskirts and wants a swap for genuine autechs - lets do it! But im starting to love the front bar. Looks good. The only other front bar id go for is the one in the thread i posted in the stagea classifieds section.

the name is Brad, i have a set of nismo sideskirts and they look identical to autech ones from what i can see except the little cut out grille things in the nismo ones.

Yeah the nismo ones have the flutes up the front, and if you look closely you can see the autech ones have a wierd spot 2/3 way toward the back where the bottom edge lifts up for some reason. You cn see it a lil in the first picture. Looks gumby. THere are a couple of other differences to such as the top edge on nismos that starts above the flutes angles down to the rear wheel arch, on autechs it is straight parallel with the bottom of the doors, the angled downwards edge on the nismo ones looks nicer. Just personal taste i guess, i like the look of the nismos a lot better.

if u were in perth i could sell u a set, i got a full nismo kit and a set of spare nismo sideskirts as well, i dont want any of it now, im more into the dayz kit and some fat rims like yokota13 has done, looks a treat and the kits arnt fibreglass either so they dont shatter if u hit em.

the motor pic of yours looks very very clean too, i think some nice rims on the car and it will look even better

Yeah rims are next - im going to put some decent semi slicks on the stock 17s and keep them for track days. For the road the car will get a set of 19 or 20" rims. Hard thing is the 20 - 30 offsets front and rear i think. The engine bay is very tidy on it. no grease, oil, coolant stains, worn bolts, loose bits or anything. all i did was hit the black with some so easy tyre rejuv and wiped it clean. Its immaculate under there.

Smooth car, Bob :/

No!!! Ian!!! dont look at my shit photography!!! haha camera phone dodgyness...

    • Yeah well per the video it took 15s for the stock unit to start up....even if I give it a few seconds discount for starting that is at least 12 sec before you get a reverse camera if you are trying to leave a park.  The android unit is way faster, but 2016 for the stock unit is a long time ago in consumer electronics
    • Yea that’s why I said ima test them with multimeter and see the reads.
    • Only at idle. Isn’t a problem when rev it seems.
    • @Haggerty This seems silly to ask, but are you confident in your ability to tune the Haltech?
    • Next on the to-do list was an oil and filter change. Nothing exciting to add here except the oil filter is in a really stupid place (facing the engine mount/subframe/steering rack). GReddy do a relocation kit which puts it towards the gearbox, I would have preferred towards the front but there's obviously a lot more stuff there. Something I'll have to look at for the next service perhaps. First time using Valvoline oil, although I can't see it being any different to most other brands Nice... The oil filter location... At least the subframe wont rust any time soon I picked up a genuine fuel filter, this is part of the fuel pump assembly inside the fuel tank. Access can be found underneath the rear seat, you'll see this triangular cover Remove the 3x plastic 10mm nuts and lift the cover up, pushing the rubber grommet through The yellow fuel line clips push out in opposite directions, remove these completely. The two moulded fuel lines can now pull upwards to disconnect, along with the wire electrical plug. There's 8x 8mm bolts that secure the black retaining ring. The fuel pump assembly is now ready to lift out. Be mindful of the fuel hose on the side, the hose clamp on mine was catching the hose preventing it from lifting up The fuel pump/filter has an upper and lower section held on by 4 pressure clips. These did take a little bit of force, it sounded like the plastic tabs were going to break but they didn't (don't worry!) The lower section helps mount the fuel pump, there's a circular rubber gasket/grommet/seal thing on the bottom where the sock is. Undo the hose clip on the short fuel hose on the side to disconnect it from the 3 way distribution pipe to be able to lift the upper half away. Don't forget to unplug the fuel pump too! There's a few rubber O rings that will need transferring to the new filter housing, I show these in the video at the bottom of this write up. Reassembly is the reverse Here's a photo of the new filter installed, you'll be able to see where the tabs are more clearing against the yellow OEM plastic Once the assembly is re-installed, I turned the engine over a few times to help build up fuel pressure. I did panic when the car stopped turning over but I could hear the fuel pump making a noise. It eventually started and has been fine since. Found my 'lucky' coin underneath the rear seat too The Youtube video can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLJ65pmQt44&t=6s
