Recommended Posts

ey Kris remember when you told me that your brother made you a big mac with quarter pounder meat and bread

i tried that a few weeks ago and man that was nice :P

yea its blody awesome hey! Now thats a real big mac :D

Your telling me that someone ellse who lives in QLD has already asked Pete if he woud go and get that burger when his next up north.

Wow do I feel left out :P

Petes seems to be a hit with the men, have to beat them to him unfortunately :D

Not for me is correct Adam, you and Pete can go and get your spicy burgers when i'm not around! :P

Krzsui - An invite to a restaurant cannot be a repost. Who else invited base junky to that restaurant?

The burning mouth, the crying, the ringing ears I can handle. But now with less than a third of the burger to go my stomach seizes up and refuses to let me put anything into it. I take a deep breath and look for my can of "harden the f**k up" when I notice that my mate Thommo has stopped eating his burger just beyond the halfway point and is wandering aimlessly up and down the street.

He has honestly lost the plot and is walking around in circles.

I decide I can't be defeated and manage one more bite before my stomach explains at this point that it is about to return to me everything i have just eaten at high speed.

not being able to face the prospect of vomiting back something that hot i pull off my gloves and admit defeat with 2 mouthfuls to go. The staff can't believe I have got this close and not finished it but at this point i really don't give a f**k because i have just started to hallucinate.

No exaggerations here for the next 15-20 minutes or so as we just sat there i was completely off my face. it is one of the strangest drug experiences I have ever had (thats a BIG call). The closest thing I can liken it to is the feeling you have when you are coming off an "e" and you are really jumpy, agitated, spun out and trippy.

Can i recommend this burger to anyone?

No f**king way.

Haha, had be laughing ou loud when I read this.

A couple of years ago I would have taken the Pepsi challenge, but now I am weak when it comes to really hot munga.

i had the off the wall burger seeing as I'm here in brissy now... went with a few guys from work... I could only get thru 3/4th of the burger before I ran off screaming "it tastes like buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurning". Although I didn't suffer from any of the anal viralitis that the guys in that writeup seemed to. I did drink a bit of milk n water to make sure my stomach lining hadn't dissolved overnight.

from that link:

it is now almost 48 hours later and i have just had my second shower for the morning.

second shower? why have 2?

because i am still shitting white hot torrents of molten steel and i need to cool down my puckered, torn and abraded sphincter before it decides to go all "china syndrome" and melt through the crust of the earth to the core.

lol!!!!!!

    • I just looked at my camera phone settings, apparently I have "not allowed" for location  Will that stop that app?
    • Can you not just turn it off on your phone if required? I remember a brief on this, well, I remember the brief, not what to actually do. LOL
    • Thanks for posting, your engine bay looks tops. I'm fairly sure you posted the wrong video though, I think you were supposed to upload the one from your "private test road" where it's banging off the limiter with the gate open?
    • This is something to be careful of. I did a bit of digging on the NM35, as I spend a lot of time on near brand new cars and CANBus related stuff, which uses the same "OBD2" plug for a fair chunk of making my life easy. The NM35, does NOT support OBD2. The data pin is actually on Pin3, which is a manufacturer specific pin, and requires Consult3 to connect to the NM35. Your low voltage, is either because the NM35 doesn't have 12V to the constant power pin on the J1962 (OBD2) connector, OR, it is attempting the standard comms, (CanBus, K Line, etc) and can't see any voltage on those pins. Some people have had success accessing SOME data from the vehicle on OBD2 specification, using a module that supports KPW. My assumption, like Duncan has stated, it will likely actually be JOBD, where there is some cross over with the OBD2 and JOBD standards. Note, lots of "OBD2" dongles, do NOT support KPW, which is what you need for a lot of Japanese vehicles of this era (And even up until recent years!), EG, Subaru, Suzuki, etc.    The end of this thread is probably worth a read, as some people did find a way to get a display up in the NM35 recently, looks like someone implemented all the stuff needed to make it work. (The right protocols).
