IN my experience the 32 is just easier to slide lol, mind you anything is easier then the ae86 i drive now, i guess people use 32's more because, they're cheaper, more of them, more options in parts like body kits cos u know a kits inportant to drift with lol, but out of all the cars ive driven my top 3 easiest was, r32, r31 and S13 but even in saying that, it all depends on the setup and the type of driver you are.

Dunno if that helps but yeh.

what i dont get is how people dont drift them due to size and weight issues - its weird if the japanese think this aswell as they absolutely love cefiros, jzx100 etc etc

if a big old cefiro family car can slide well why not an r33...

btw great thread keep updating with pics/ vids

What about the JMS R33 drifter that became Mark Phillips ppg then martini drift car? That car was mental. I remember the first time i went to a drift event at Mallala I saw that 33 tearing up the main straight. That car was awsome

they were good times and dont forget port gawler lol

Ceffies and Jxz100s are both smaller and lighter than an R33.

The 33 does has plenty of potential though as shown by the pics/vids above

A chaser lighter than a 33..hmmmm.

lol all you guys that have experienced all the different chassis and models are lucky...

i ha ve to say r33 is easy to drift but thats comparing to my old cars, a vx with a spool and a volvo 360 glt..... the 33 was amazing haha

would love to try an s chassis if what everyone says is true..

i think the long wheel base makes it more fun

, My r33 is built for drifting, its got all the basics, 2-way diff, pinapples, 255kws,9point cusco saftey 21 cage, big fat rims 18x10's with phat offset..

I think r33's are good for drifting, its the way you drift, your style.

here are some videos of me drifting at winton.

and some photos

    • Hi. Can someone tell me what brakes(and mainly WHERE) can i buy brakes on R34 GTT? I bought some EBC which SHOULD go on my car(i have GT but it has GTT brakes) but it does not fit, Brakes are "too" small(296mm) Are 310mm be good or? I have 17 inch wheel so no "big boys" but for me driving i just need one that fits and i can get here in EU/Czech.
    • Since winter isn't that harsh anymore in Poland, i will definetely drive it 365 days a year 😉. But if the snow hits i will try it for sure and let U know. Only swap i am planning to do is of course R34 GTR front 😍.
    • Hey. Very valuable information about pitwork, I will pay attention when buying any consumable parts 🙏 As for the carpets - I got a handful of information from nengun, from which it appears that indeed the carpets for the driver's side are OEM. They are not able to show me any pictures due to the long chain of different sales entities but after I place the order, as soon as the goods arrive at the nengun warehouse from which they will send the shipment to me they can send me photos and if my purchase differs from OEM I can immediately return it / cancel the purchase. I think I will give it a try 😉. Of course i'll let you know what's what as soon as i get them P.s. I know the topic is not relevant to the thread, but both nengun and amayama have these SICK 😍 trunk room lamps available. Do you know anyone who ordered them? I need to have one in my car
