we have got a selection of "light weight" PS components off other cars so not the standard setup.

im not sure how it would go with r33 suspension setup

r31/s13 seem to pivot easier

only way to find out woudl be give it a bash

in the 31 it saves about 70 kg of shit!

Mounts are R31 specials. lol. $15 each brand new.

ive been hobby working with alloy for a few years now and its a pain in the ass. it marks way to easy. its 3mm thick so it hold its shape.

usually i use a green scoring pad to give a brushed alloy look but used 1000 or 4000 grit sand paper to give a brushed alloy look.

By smooth i mean it doesnt look like it will take a finger off if you touched an edge...but you did just say you have been playing with it for a while....im just wonding the best way to cut and bend it to shape.

as far as i know it's just a painted std mount, the engine didn't have one attached when i got it, so we scanvenged it.
