Had it all,

Well done to Mark.....

Louise Suck It

And Schumi,

Well done my man, now to get on the podium...

Jenson welcome to the school of car placement and door closing.

lol, the reverse sychology worked.

nasty suspension failure for lewis......did well not to go into the barrier a lot harder.

Vets not happy. likes being out infront, not so good when he has to scrap.

Grats Mark, forget all the nasty shit I said about you.

great great great race to be at

hamo and vettel into turn one with that fcuking Virgin racing car baulking them was epic, happened right infront of me. shame both of them came to grief, they were great to watch. bit dissappointed in button. if it were hamo, vettel of nando, im pretty sure they'd have made it past.

anyway, monco in a week and a chance for another great race.

Come on Webz, my Crystal Ball, the one i got from a $2 shop says Mark will top Q1, Q2 and Q3. Win from Pole and take fastest lap :P

Ben...they bolted softs on for the last run

well done brisby! you picked it and I picked it too. I had my cash on webber for quali and then put some on for the win. :D only got 2:1 so it was really a stupid bet but I had a feeling mark was going to come good after reading my post about how this weekend is so crucial to him securing another drive next year.

I had some cash on schumacher for a podium too and thanks to hamilton and vettel it bloody nearly paid off. that one would have been a nice payer too. :P

Will start on pole, lose 3 places by the 2nd corner and then fall back a further 4 places by race end

ye of little faith!!!

You cann SE it through turn one how much faster RBR are, Vettel ftw... webber will fcuk it up

how could you! got to waive that aussie flag boyo!

RBR will take each other out and Hamilton will pickup the pieces...

shame on you too benny!

Nope , this is Webber's weekend! :) His starts the last few GPs have been good {i hope}

that's right. troy kept the faith!!

Dick Dastardly thumb tack on the road for Hamo?

lol, I have to admit I saw that and thought someone in the crowd must have shot out his tyre to get dirty sanchez a better finishing position. lol, they all hate hamilton so much.

oh, and webber pulled out exactly the kind of result he needed. fastest through all 3 quali sessions, won the race and fastest lap too (I think?). it really was a commanding performance for once it was vettel moving backwards and then suffering some bad luck to go with it. still not bad when your 'bad day' ends with a 3rd place. shame for webber than hamilton didn't finish as he would have been much better off with vettel in 4th instead of 3rd.

webs now back in the hunt for the championship and looking like he could make it happen too. :P

It was a pretty boring race, but I was still telling the missus not to strip infront of the TV! :P

Congrats to Webber! Obviously he had a talk to Hamilton and gave him a few pointers. Hamo is a fast learner. I believe he was told to spare his tyres, good to know he's still listening to his pit crew.

    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
