Christ if it was about the cars then i would have been booted from the club 5 months ago in shame, yet i'm still there every week and one of the main members in Canberra and i'm going out on a limb here, but i'd wager if i stopped coming there'd be quite a few people that'd miss me too.

Now,before I get too overwhelmed;spotted a tough looking neat red 31 at Inline Suspension,Johnny's cool 31 in Fysho',a schweet 33 in bayside blue(I believe Kurt's old one),DJ D's old 32 near Fysho' markets last night(I'm pretty sure I saw it right...) and Soarer Gal(the driver formally know as Skyline Gal)and Sinista at Jerra' pub,sans rides....Oh,all this 'Line goodness!

SPOTTED: Friday arvo/night near the air port very tidy Dark/dback R32 GTR tried waving but I was turning off.

Heh, exactly the same reason I went to the coast!

To be honest, I found the Clyde to be quite.....tame, granted I was going a bit easy as it was my first time (LOL Clyde virgin) and I was expecting some serious angles after all the hype people had given it. My DBA Slotteds worked a miracle though! Macquarie Pass is far more exciting and is something you reeeeally need to try (organise a cruise to Kiama). The Clyde's corners weren't really tight enough for my liking.

Oh....and Recaro's reeeeally aren't made for long trips!

Edit: Going up was very slow due to rain and visibility of like two meters.

And race_snooze, you were in an over taking lane....hence the hauling ass

if you can, go on a fairly clear day when other traffic is unlikely. When we cam back up the Clyde last weekend, there were a few louts on the road, including couple of Commodore heroes overtaking on the double lines through blind corners.

i remember on a pulsar cruise we headed up to robertson which is from memory you just take a turn off after sutton forrest. From Robertson you head down some cool hill that is steep and sharp corners and yea it takes you to kiama... it was good fun lets do it while its still warmish

Dont bet on it. Have seen quite gruesome accidents twice when a tool has overtaken round a blind corner and wiped out a bike rider or two. One was a fatal accident.

If you are going down that way, if you get stuck behind a slow truck wait it out till you get to the top, turn around and try again. Taking 5 minutes extra to get to the top is nothing compared to overtaking around a blind corner/double lines and killing someone coming the other way.
