ive had my 33 for 7 years now

it's done 23,000 each year since i got it

broken radiator

coilpacks died

alternator replaced

diff is grumpy

usual wear and tear - clutches, tyres

37% more power than stock and held up pretty well considering

hehe. I'm in a similar situation but not. I've had my Pulsar for 7 years. Done a bit less than 10,000kms per year as it spends most of it's life off the road.

I've broken well...EVERYTHING.

Should be making 200-210fwkw with the manual behind it. Bit of an increase over the 50fwkw it had stock.

Well done :domokun: That's impressive!

What's it like having so much power at the front wheels in such a small car?

What brakes have you got on there? Stock? Coz if so then I know what you mean by 'stopping is the hard part' ;)

Sort of stock. Front and rear calipers and disks upgraded to SSS items (single piston, but a fair amount bigger.) The car came with a drum brake rear end and piddly little front calipers stock. It could do with better brakes but they still pull it up okay (even from 200kmp/h+) and I have other priorities.

Poles help?

Arse

Poles stop cars very quickly, much more effective than 8-Pots :D

web development, I'm guessing its the same thing Pat's goin for but a more junior role?

nah mines for a graduate engineering position in a flexible plastic packaging manufacturing company. (beer wrapping on 6packs and cadbury wrappers etc)

The tests were pretty lol, the maths questions were overwhelming haha

Ah well, will see what I got next week and if move to 3rd stage which is another interview zzzz

i wouldnt stress too much re: getting the answers correct

i mean obviously there is merit testing your technical and maths etc for general assesment

but sometimes they give you bullshit ones where there is no correct answer

they do this to see your lateral thinking and problem solving tactics, even though there is no correct answer

ive done this a few times when interviewing techs, give them a problem and provide multiple choice where all the answers are wrong

the guy who stands one is the one who scribbles near it trying to debunk the correct answer and goes on to discuss the possible causes etc, the ones you dont want just circle an answer or leave it blank

lol at men in black.

Yeah, will see how it goes.

On another note, my dad blew up his mitsubishi express van engine.

Does anyone know where to get a replacement engine or another van? I see hundreds of them on the roads yet there is nothing on ebay, carsales, carpoint, autotrader.

I guess people selling them are old tradies and dont bother advertising online.. Where would be the best place to search for these vans? Probably notice boards at pubs or something haha

    • Since winter isn't that harsh anymore in Poland, i will definetely drive it 365 days a year 😉. But if the snow hits i will try it for sure and let U know. Only swap i am planning to do is of course R34 GTR front 😍.
    • Hey. Very valuable information about pitwork, I will pay attention when buying any consumable parts 🙏 As for the carpets - I got a handful of information from nengun, from which it appears that indeed the carpets for the driver's side are OEM. They are not able to show me any pictures due to the long chain of different sales entities but after I place the order, as soon as the goods arrive at the nengun warehouse from which they will send the shipment to me they can send me photos and if my purchase differs from OEM I can immediately return it / cancel the purchase. I think I will give it a try 😉. Of course i'll let you know what's what as soon as i get them P.s. I know the topic is not relevant to the thread, but both nengun and amayama have these SICK 😍 trunk room lamps available. Do you know anyone who ordered them? I need to have one in my car
