Yep to both cos I'm a idiot...

... no, really I'd like to know if I'm melting or not. Once again I'm a stupid twat.

just need to remember that the r33 was designed off the experience/knowledge/mistakes from the r32. So jumping from a newer model r33 to a r32 will always be tricky as you have become used to the new/updated features etc

Just remember that the r32 came from the r31 and you can definitely see the massive leap there. So at least have some respect for being the foundation of the r33 and r34 :)

Would love to have 34R but no cash considering I binned the 33.

I must be old man cos I complain at average 40 times a day.

My mate Josh has blown up his r32 gtr twice. Now on a tuned motor that will soon be pulling 400+kw. Afm and injectors limited it to only 350. That car was such a pos to begin with. He is actually ordering little tiny parts from japan to get the car looking new again. Even new interior door handles. It looks mint ATM. You can have a nice r32 gtr. But it costs

Indeed, each model is a leap forward (or behind in some cases).

I guess I'll have to get used to living in ancient '80s cabin after all.

Don't you suppose he could scare me for 5 mins?

Just to keep me motivated to keep this stupid thing.

imo, nothing wrong with the 32R's cabin..

Just that plastic centre console surrounds gets me sometimes...

For me, it could use bit of room.

Once again I'm jumping down to ancient '80s cabin from nice looking R33 cabin.

oi

interested in one of your HKS actuators. How much you let one go for?

lol wouldn't you want to know what pressure the actuator is rated at first? also, why not just buy a garett actuator? same shit, just a rod attached to a diapragm.

R33 cabin reminds me of a 90's maxima, R32 cabin reminds me of a VL commonwhore. They all suck. Think Z32 cabin was well ahead of its time, too bad it's stuck in a land barge.

Strangely, I kind of agree with you there.

We will be out tonight if your interested in checking it out. He called me as soon as I posted haha

Would love to but i've got my first early shift at work in 6 months.

Next time though.

Yep, would have been me if it was around 2-3ish. My '33 has black wheels now. Was coming home from the parental's house in Preston. Temperature was so hot that me and the old man left work early for the day.

Didn't see you dude : (

LOL i beeped at you

also noticed girls tend to take more notice of a guy with a car

    • I appreciate the detailed explanation, think I understand now. I spent the better part of last night reading what I could about shuffle and potential solutions. I had replaced the OEM twin turbo pipe with an alternate Y pipe that is separated further away from the turbo. The current one is from HKS and I had a previous pipe that was separated even further away, both have shuffle. I had heard that a divider can be welded in to the OEM pipe to remove turbulence, and figure that aftermarket pipes that are more separated would achieve the same thing. From what I read, most people with -10 turbos get shuffle due to their size, though it's a bit less common with -5s on a standard RB26. I think Nismoid mentioned somewhere it's because OEM recirculation piping is common in Australia with -5 cars. It seems that the recommendation tends to vary between a few options, which I've ordered in what I think is most feasible for me:  1. Retune the MAP or boost controller to try to eliminate shuffle 2. Install OEM recirculation piping 3. Something called a 'balance pipe' welded onto the exhaust manifolds. I don't know if kits for this are available, seems like pure fabrication work 4. simply go single turbo My current layout is as follows: Garrett 2860 -5s HKS Racing Suction intake MAF delete pipes HKS racing chamber intake piping hard intercooler piping,  ARC intercooler HKS SSQV BOV and pipe Haltech 2500 elite ECU and boost solenoid/controller HPI dump pipes OEM exhaust manifolds HKS VCAM step 1 and supporting head modifications Built 2.6 bottom end All OEM recirculation piping was removed, relevant areas sealed off I'll keep an eye out for any alternative solutions but can get started with this.  Only other question is, does shuffle harm the turbo (or anything else)? It seems like some people say your turbo shafts will explode because of the opposing forces after a while and others say they just live with it and adjust their pedal foot accordingly.
    • That worked out PERFECTLY! Thank you big time to JJ. He was able to swap me his stock diff. He drove all the way to me as well. Killer! Removal & install was pretty straightforward. The diff itself is HEAVY. So that’s a 2 man job.  Man does the car drive nice now! Couldn’t have worked out any better 👌
