harsh lol

Fixed back for track days etc takes 10min to put old seat back in... I have never moved my drivers seat in 5 years of owning my car for someone to get in lol f**k that, go around!

oh fair enough but still easier to clean around if you can move it lol

yeah coz easier access to the back seat is girly/muztek...

I don't move my driver seat. Ever. Get in through the passenger side, its got a lever and slide mechanism for that.

Dunno why anyone in their right mind would put a fixed back on the passenger side. It's not like you're going rally driving and have a navigator all the time.

re; house auctions.

If you win a house auction, is it pending finance approval? Or is the winning bid locked in and you forced to pay?

I know private sale of houses can be put on hold subject to finance, but is this the same for auctions?

cheers

No, auctions are unconditional (ie you can't say "subject to...finance/building inspection etc."), you bid you buy (or come to some arrangement to cover costs and time wasted)

called the realestate agent to ask if i need a pre-approval and he said nup, just show up on the day and bid away. Didnt ask him about bid being subject to finance though, so wanted to know if anyone knew.

Wont get a pre-approval before Sunday and the auction is on then :(

yeh auction is unconditional not even cooling off period applies. pre approval doesnt mean jack for whats its worth i can put you in touch with people who can basically tell you on the phone if its ok or not for you to buy at a set price provided you give them the accurate answers to the questions they will have.

ive sold properties to ppl with pre approvals that then got declined its a bit of paper you may as well wipe your ass with.

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.

    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
