So true. Wouldn't mind squeezing one in the back of my car though.

putting an stroked EFI 5.7L 350 chev into my 240Z. :D Maybe supercharge later down the track.

fuck y'all and your straight 6's.

I call bs till it's done. The monkey talks too much

haha I'm not gonna be doin full sick races in it up and down prinny anyways, so you'll probably never see it.

it's a full resto project so don't expect it to be finished anytime soon. This one's a keeper, so I'm takin my sweet time with it, golf mods for short term lulz.

Unless someone offers me stupid amounts of money for it (ie more than I paid for it) in which case I'll flip it in a heartbeat.

lol alvin

who gives a f**k about losing value

the man is overpaid and he wants to do what he wants! :P<br> i personally would drop in a quad rotor

streeter quoted me $1680 for XD9's in 17x9.5+17 and 18x9.5+18 just 3 months ago

Nice price, might chase him once i start lookin

Pat, are you gonna sell your drifteks if you get xd9s?

Not sure might see. Could slap on some semi's on them once the tyres wear out and use them as a track rim.

A full resto job and then putting in a different motor to what it came out with. Defeats the purpose of doing a resto. Would lose value by removing the original motor

One of the guys from the datto club almost had a stroke when he saw the conversion being done in the shop. They fap to matching numbers and all that shit. Fuck that. I just want rust free. I'm turfing the shitheap L28 engine and the suspension, putting in 1972 355 stroker with EFI conversion so I'm outside of EPA laws (car is 1973, engine is 1972). Should make about 450-500hp easy. Swapping in S14 suspension to make it handle better and ditching allt he heavy steering shit. Long term (expensive) project, but will be fuckin fun once it's done.

your just a money hungry curry ;)

I stopped getting attached to cars a while back. Easy way to lose money. I own 5 cars outright and don't owe a dime on any of em as a result. 3 are with me, one in the shop, one for buying and selling to make some cash on the side.

Now enter the force of your swing. I suggest feather touch.

(Beep, beep, beep) You have entered "power drive".

Now, push seven eight seven to swing." (Beep beep beep)

"Ball is in...parking lot. Would you like to play again? (Beep) You have selected, "No."

lol alex... that guy raged @ me for giving him a warning and instigating it... Like full PM rage.

Then said he will delete his account and never come back.

Oh well... Guess some people can't take a warning for their own actions!

That looks amazing... I don't understand why such a fuss is being made about 2 pieces of chicken being marketed as a burger... Idiots. Can't wait for dinner tomorrow haha

Zinger fillets + extra supercharger sauce will be my order for that burger haha

car is gone...forever (i think)

glad and partly sad at the same time

oh well moving on now

v35? mmm most likely

33R? maybe...

hsv coupe/monaro? perhaps..

If you go V35 make sure you do it right...Saw a decent looking silver one the other day, looked like quality jap wheels but didn't see it stationary so not sure what they were, fitment was half decent though

chuck the skin away along with all the rubbish that's in the middle, then i wouldn't mind trying it

So you want 2 pieces of skinless chicken..

    • You just need to remove the compressor housing, not the entire turbo. I would not be drilling and tapping anything with the housing still on anyways.
    • So, I put my boat on a boat. First of all, I'm going to come out and say it. Why is Tasmania not considered a holy goal, an apex that all road-legal modified cars go to, to experience? This place is an absolute wonderland of titanic proportions. If people are already getting club runs for once in a lifetime 30 person cruises to Tassy then I've never seemed to see it. It is like someone replaced the entire place with an idyllic wonderland for cars, and all of the people living there with paid actors who are kind, humble, and friendly. Dear god. After doing a lap of almost all of the place I've found that it's a great way to find out all of the little things that the car isn't doing quite right and a great way to figure it all out. All in all, I drove for 4 hours a day for a week and nothing broke. I didn't even need to open the engine bay. This is by all means a great success, but it has left me with a list of things to potentially address. I also now have a 3D printed wheel fitment tool which annoyingly hasn't got any threads in it to actually assemble it. I might be able to tape it together to check the sizing I actually want to use, but it'll likely involving pulling the shocks out to properly measure travel at least at the front, and probably raise the car while I'm at it, at least in the rear. I scraped on quite a few things and I'm not sure how else to go about it. I was taking anything with a bump at what felt like 89 degree angles. And address those 10 other tasks. And wash the car. God damn it is dirty. And somehow, the weather was perfect the entire time - And because I was on the top of Mt Wellington it turns out it was very much about to freeze up there. I did something I typically never do and took some photos up there in what must have been -10 and the foggy felt like suspended ice, rather than mere fog. If you own a car in Australia, you owe it to yourself to do it.
    • Damn that was hilarious, and a bit embarrassing for skylines in general 😂 vintage car life ey. That R33 really stomped. Pretty entertaining stuff
    • Hi, I have a r32 gtr transmission. Does any of you guys have an idea how much power it will hold with the billet center plate and stock gearset? At what power level and use did yours brake with or without billet plate? Thanks, Oystein Lovik
    • Saw this replica police car based on a Mitsubishi Starion XX parked next to a 'police box' (it's literally a box) in Hirohata, Himeji City in Hyogo prefecture the other day. It's owned by Morii-san who is a local Mitsubishi Starion enthusiast. According to a local radio station blog post, he always wanted to make a police car himself based on ones he saw in his favourite Manga comics.  As it's illegal to modify a car to look like a police car and drive on the road, Morii-san tried many times to get permission from Aboshi police station headquarters nearby. They refused initially by after they got tired of that they granted him permission. However, the car can only be displayed on private property and obviously can't be registered as long as the police livery is present. The car was completed at a cost of 1.5 million yen (US$ 10,000) in addition to the car cost. A location was chosen outside Hirohata Police box where the car can easily been seen from the street. Morii-san has two other Starion road cars, both widebody GSR-VRs.
