Man I are tired...

6hrs of filming, 3hrs of getting it ready and I'm stuffed...

Getting the GTS-R filmed for a documentary/short film type of thing a mate of mine is doing at the moment.

They brought down some serious gear but fark me, loooong day.

Hopefully it'll be done in a couple of days or so.

Some of their past work:

I'm quietly excited to see what it comes out like!

Fuck it!

Ima get me 1 of them tomorrow night!

That looks amazing... I don't understand why such a fuss is being made about 2 pieces of chicken being marketed as a burger... Idiots. Can't wait for dinner tomorrow haha

No shit yeah... A box of 10 Original Recipes would be worse...

chuck the skin away along with all the rubbish that's in the middle, then i wouldn't mind trying it

So you want 2 pieces of skinless chicken..

^^

oo sounds good.

btw, do you know who owns the winfield r32 gtr replica which shows up at sau events etc?

If you go V35 make sure you do it right...Saw a decent looking silver one the other day, looked like quality jap wheels but didn't see it stationary so not sure what they were, fitment was half decent though

So you want 2 pieces of skinless chicken..

rims and height is all i'd do with a v35. would like to see a v36 on the road some day they look like a quality package.

and yes pretty much.

Not a car workshop, the business is Provex

They are obviously quite handy with tools though :)

hmm my family sees the red gtr all the time across the road from their business. Its in a business park, car is always there being worked on. Trying to suss out if its their workshop or some import mechanic.

The Provex contact details dont match up to the address where we see the car always haha

bahaha thats funny as. Bloody things are expensive

Indeed! Scott would be able to get it a little cheaper through his work though I'd imagine. I'd love to see the program though, it'd be pretty interesting. The only programs I see is involved with beverage lines lol

lol alex... that guy raged @ me for giving him a warning and instigating it... Like full PM rage.

Then said he will delete his account and never come back.

Oh well... Guess some people can't take a warning for their own actions!

not suprised, his an outright knob just go through his posts.

feel free to knock my added 20% warn off :whistling::laugh:

    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
    • So M12 and sealant should be fine?    NPT ” because that’s what I had and what I could get atm.
    • Wouldn’t touch par if they gave it to me. You need to ask how much power you’re looking to make and then add about 50% to it because that’s what you’ll end up making  The factory box says no more at about 350kw or so, the upgraded synchro boxes won’t handle much over 500kw for long and at that point you’re looking at an auto or dog engagement manual,  once you’ve gone dog engagement you may as well go sequential, they cost a little bit more but it’s worth it  also while you’re at it you should upgrade the transfer case with 10 friction plates
