I found one supplier on eBay US for around aud$80 delivered so a group buy should lesson the postage making them slightly cheaper again.

Dear Paul, as the expression goes: Shit or get off the pot.

To all those interested in a G35 cover: Since I am not making a red cent on these covers and was just tying to organise it to help out and cover Aus wide shipping costs, may I suggest you guys get in contact with Paul and organise your purchases through him since he can get them cheaper than I can from the US.

I am sure he will be more than willing to help out

No need for that mate. You asked me to share the link so I thought I would make contact with the supplier I found for a GB price to save you the leg work. Then I was going to pass on the details to you.

I know it's your GB but if I could have shared cheaper pricing for everyone, it could have been a good thing. Don't know I'd bother next time!

Anyway, I just got a reply and they are out of stock and have them on back order with no eta.

Enjoy.

All due respect Paul, you haven't done anything other than jump into someone else's group buy thread touting that you found a supplier that can do it cheaper.

If you had found a supplier, why not post the link up or even better, instead of posting what you did - send it in a PM.

I'd still like to see this supplier that can do it for $80 landed. Feel free to post the link as you did say that you had found it for this price and I'm sure everyone interested would love to save the $10 and the wait for the numbers to enable the group buy.

Future reference, 1) when organising group buy, you work out the supply and pricing BEFORE posting anything 2) "going to" means that you didn't.

I guess it comes down to if you say that you can do it better/cheaper, do it or STFU and GTFO

I said the reasons I did this in my post! When Ryan did a GB on SPC bolts after I did, I shared that supplier with him in his thread. Seeing as SAU won't allow you to edit or delete a post after a short time I couldn't remove it.

That price is a single item landed, not group buy price!

If I go to Melbourne we can meet and you can repeat the above to me!

Cam was asked to do this group buy wasn't he? Why would you essentially try and waste the hours of time he has put into this Paul, for the sake of a couple of dollars? Seems to be a common occurrence with you, just stop and think before you post or PM as not to upset people, he is just trying to help.

I am sure out of the thousands of dealers over in the states there would be one that will undercut the price a little, why don't you call them all...

Cam is most definitely the Technoviking, not to be messed with. lol.

Still haven't seen an ebay link to this seller Paul.

For the sake of all the guys that are interested in buying these covers and saving $12 over my price post it up so they can buy their own instead of waiting for the number of a group buy (no sarcasm).

For the third time, put up or shut up.

Oh, and lol.

This thread has made me think less of the Wastelanders.

Never before have I seen so few pics of women in a thread with so many wastelanders.

I only hope they can get things back on track.

Need 10 (although I'll check).

Have? Not 10 yet

what the heck happened to this thread? anyhow Im out as Im importing it myself now.

Sonny, who did you get it through? If it was cheaper than I can do, can you post up the link/seller for the others that are interested (serious).

    • AHHHH gotchaa, I'll do that once I am home again. I tried doing the harness with the multimeter but it seems the car needed a jump, there was no power when it was in the "ON" position. Not sure if I should use car battery jump starter or if its because the stuff that has been disconnect the car just does send power.
    • As far as I can tell I have everything properly set in the Haltech software for engine size, injector data, all sensors seem to be reporting proper numbers.  If I change any injector details it doesnt run right.    Changing the base map is having the biggest change in response, im not sure how people are saying it doesnt really matter.  I'm guessing under normal conditions the ECU is able to self adjust and keep everything smooth.   Right now my best performance is happening by lowering the base map just enough to where the ECU us doing short term cut of about 45% to reach the target Lambda of 14.7.  That way when I start putting load on it still has high enough fuel map to not be so lean.  After 2500 rpm I raised the base map to what would be really rich at no load, but still helps with the lean spots on load.  I figure I don't have much reason to be above 2500rpm with no load.  When watching other videos it seems their target is reached much faster than mine.  Mine takes forever to adjust and reach the target. My next few days will be spent making sure timing is good, it was running fine before doing the ECU and DBW swap, but want to verify.  I'll also probably swap in the new injectors I bought as well as a walbro 255 pump.
    • It would be different if the sealant hadn't started to peel up with gaps in the glue about ~6cm and bigger in some areas. I would much prefer not having to do the work take them off the car . However, the filler the owner put in the roof rack mount cavities has shrunk and begun to crack on the rail delete panels. I cant trust that to hold off moisture ingress especially where I live. Not only that but I have faded paint on as well as on either side of these panels, so they would need to come off to give the roofline a proper respray. My goal is to get in there and put a healthy amount of epoxy instead of panel filler/bog and potentially skin with carbon fiber. I have 2 spare rolls from an old motorcycle fairing project from a few years back and I think it'd be a nice touch on a black stag.  I've seen some threads where people replace their roof rack delete with a welded in sheet metal part. But has anyone re-worked the roof rails themselves? It seems like there is a lot of volume there to add in some threads and maybe a keyway for a quick(er) release roof rack system. Not afraid to mill something out if I have to. It would be cool to have a cross bar only setup. That way I can keep the sleek roofline that would accept a couple bolts to gain back that extra utility  3D print some snazzy covers to hide the threaded section to be thorough and keep things covered when not using the rack.
    • Probably not. A workshop grade scantool is my go to for proper Consult interrogation. Any workshop grade tool should do it. Just go to a workshop.
    • In my head it does make sense to be a fuel problem since that is what I touched when cleaning the system. When I was testing with the fuel pressure gauge, the pressure was constantly 2.5 bar with the FPR vacuum removed. When stalling, the pressure was going up to 3.0 bar (which is how it should be on ignition).
