i vote he was on ice or some shit, good form on the media's reporting of the situation though, read 19 and skyline and started rolling my eyes but im glad they said he wasn't doing anything rather then just spit he was racing or some bs..

ha ha ha, i had a HOLDEN SS try to run me at the lights on Warringah Road Frenchs Forest and i ignored him, lights turn green - he guns it must of reached at leased 100 and surprise surprise behind us there was a FPV F6 unmarked cop car, i smiled when the cop puled him over and i just continued to drive normaly past.

if you wanna race just make a date at the strip

Happens all the time. If you really wanna gee someone up to go get caught, then just clutch in and rev like you're gonna dump it, then as they fly off, just glide gently off the line. Bait and switch.

In your case, you got it perfect cause there was a cop to catch the idiot :(

when theirs a rice burner f**king around with me at the light i love to rev like im going to dump it, then just casually putting my blinker on and turning just so he takes off like a f**kwit by himself :)

Guy came from Horsley.

I saw the car on the tilt tray.

I don't believe he's an SAU'er... Looked like warp speed was involved in the accident... :(

I heard very little about it in the news as well actually.

I heard from Ruxis that his mum works with this guy's mum... He's got/had a pregnant girlfriend and a mortgage on a house... Apparently he always drove fast/recklessly.

Ruining the people who are left behind's lives for what? No good reason. :(

It's tragic, but it's more tragic that people think they can just do this kind of thing and not have bad things happen. We all have to learn we're not invincible.

+1 don't ruin your families lives too - i see it all the time - but with the evo I've noticed less people try to race me - except for a stupid Honda integra yesterday she was doing crazy speeds (after she overtook me) and tailgating me at one stage

thats real bad. what a shame to hear that! babys coming and mortgage. thats selfish cause leaving all that heavy stuff for family is a no no way to go.. im glad to hear their are responsible people here as i havent met much. wanna race? get on the tracks and no worry about killing other innocent lives.

gotta meet some of your guys and go do some time attacks at the tracks, thats where to true skill comes alive.

Absolutely. We don't tolerate any "street-racer" shit here, we enjoy our cars on the road simply by driving them. Wanna go fast? We go to texi/Wakey/wherever.

(We do our best to weed out the idiots :P)

    • I feel I should re-iterate. The above picture is the only option available in the software and the blurb from HP Tuners I quoted earlier is the only way to add data to it and that's the description they offer as to how to figure it out. The only fields available is the blank box after (Input/ ) and the box right before = Output. Those are the only numbers that can be entered.
    • No, your formula is arse backwards. Mine is totally different to yours, and is the one I said was bang on at 50 and 150. I'll put your data into Excel (actually it already is, chart it and fit a linear fit to it, aiming to make it evenly wrong across the whole span. But not now. Other things to do first.
    • God damnit. The only option I actually have in the software is the one that is screenshotted. I am glad that I at least got it right... for those two points. Would it actually change anything if I chose/used 80C and 120C as the two points instead? My brain wants to imagine the formula put into HPtuners would be the same equation, otherwise none of this makes sense to me, unless: 1) The formula you put into VCM Scanner/HPTuners is always linear 2) The two points/input pairs are only arbitrary to choose (as the documentation implies) IF the actual scaling of the sensor is linear. then 3) If the scaling is not linear, the two points you choose matter a great deal, because the formula will draw a line between those two points only.
    • Nah, that is hella wrong. If I do a simple linear between 150°C (0.407v) and 50°C (2.98v) I get the formula Temperature = -38.8651*voltage + 165.8181 It is perfectly correct at 50 and 150, but it is as much as 20° out in the region of 110°C, because the actual data is significantly non-linear there. It is no more than 4° out down at the lowest temperatures, but is is seriously shit almost everywhere. I cannot believe that the instruction is to do a 2 point linear fit. I would say the method I used previously would have to be better.
