Yep

Sounds like nothing more than the stewards defending their bad call.

What he's basically saying is that any driver coming from behind can drive up the inside, with no chance of making the corner, and the lead car who is on the racing line either has to stop and let him through, or drive right off the track so that he doesn't get t boned.

Yeah just ignore the fact that Herbert had vastly more information to hand than DC.

Not that it mattered anyway. Massa has another bollard off the track he was forced to go and smash his suspension on. Guessing that was Hamiltons fault to.

Massa is, in a way, lucky that Hamilton keeps running into him. Serves to divert attention from his profoundly ordinary performance all year.

Quote from another forum;

No team that views itself in contention is going to wait until the end of the season to seat their drivers unless they are moving to a guy with tons of experience - like Alonso.

Renault made some very screwy decisions this year. Letting Heidfeld go just didn't make any sense.

Here is your fun fact for the day: Even though he was dropped half way through the season (after round 11), Heidfeld is still TENTH in the driver's standings with 34 points - only 2 points below his teammate who has had the benefit of all 17 races.

Heidfeld's replacement has scored a grand total of 2 points in 6 races.

All this conveniently ignores the fact that the Renault was massively more competitive in the first half of the season than the second. Heidfeld wouldnt have been dumped if he was doing the job. He wasnt so Renault moved on.

Weather LH would have made the corner (probably, seeing as he never locked a wheel) is open for debate, and I'm not really looking to perpetuate the argument but it's good food for thought nonetheless; With regards to overtaking manouevers in braking zones, roughly what % of them are conducted with the driver looking to pass being 'on the racing line'?

hmmm...

Weather? Whether?

How far up the inside the overtaking car needs to be is the most boring argument in motorsport.

As for the percentage question it is exactly zero.

yeah, whether

and Hamilton was far enough alongside, that much you can see at least

the crux of the 'Hamo was wrong' view seems to be the assumptions that a) Lewis wasn't making the apex AND/OR b) Massa needed to drive across the apex to make the turn

neither of which points we keyboard-kommentors can prove/disprove

p.s I figured the percentage would be somewhere in that range ;)

Button: Enough with the Lewis questions.

Asked about Hamilton's latest row with Massa, Button replied: "I don't give a f***" "If you want to do an interview with me, about me- that's fine. But I don't want to be asked about Lewis again. It's doing my head in."

the main point is there are places that are passing opportunities and corners that just aren't. That was one of the latter. Its a one line corner and the guy on the outside at racing speed has to take the racing line to make that corner - having a half-arsed look up the inside there is destined to end exactly the way it did.

it would be like someone having half a car up alongside another going into Skyline at Bathurst - you just can't make that work

having a half-arsed look up the inside there is destined to end exactly the way it did.

esp. when the driver defending the line has a seething hatred of the attacking driver for 'stealing' his only title chance

ah Flav- everyone's favorite Jabba the Hutt lookin' race-fixer

He is my man of the century. Does what he wants. Seems he does who he wants...all whilst being a slob of an old man with all the cash in the world. He is my HERO!

A quick google search...

    • Agreed, I've never seen a 260RS specific manual. As GTSBoy said it will mostly be stagea other than the engine loom https://www.hgeconsulting.com.au/stageaservicemanual.pdf
    • You'lll likely have to make do with R33 GTR for engine/tranny stuff, and Stagea for the body. I don't know that there's even been an actual diagram seen in the wild.
    • Haha, i kow right? Could have bought so many cars for the same amount of money (or less) but driving Unicorn gives you at least +1mln to style 😅. Like wise man said "life's to short to drink cheap wine and drive boring cars" 😉
    • Newbie here, proud owner of an Autech 260RS. I'm on the hunt for wiring diagrams specific to the 260RS, particularly S1. I've ran my eyes through R33, R34 Diagrams, there are some similarities, however continue to find incorrect wire colours and pins on connectors in the 33,34 diagrams.   I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction? I'd be happy to pay for the originals in Japanese. I can translate them, at least they would be accurate.   Any help please would be greatly appreciated, never heard an RB26DETT before let alone driven one, and I've got a spaghetti monster of goodness to sort out.   Cheers Benny
