I tried timing once and lost to you reece by 1 sec on mornin course 2.. it has inspired me to use good rubber and try and do times in the champ series next year.. Im hopeful of winning now lol

My diff is having a heart attack after trying to drift on 265 semis lol.. time for a 2 way for texi next year..

Oh and reece, adrians clutch is dead now lol good work!! told ya s15's suck! 34 powa!

That sucks, I feel really bad now, It still felt really good on the last wet run I did. I'll give him a shout out and see if I can help

did 6 runs whole day and 4 of those with TCS on .. FML. But even so was lotsa fun, especially in the rain at the end when I finally figured out I had TCS on the whole time (great timing there)

Thanks to the bloke that told me I was riding my clutch and that it was smoking after the first run ... Ben I think ? Appreciate it mate .. if you hadn't spotted it I would've probably killed the clutch. I was so friggin lost because of the TCS that's probably why I was on the clutch constantly trying to change back to first as I was like WTF IS GOIN ON MAN NO POWAAAHH

anyone got vids of the battles when it started pouring down towards the end of battle 1 ? I had Anna smashed but started celebrating too early and fkd up my finish :ph34r: Some accomplishment there ..beating a girl in an MX5 ..and couldn't even do that right. :down:

hehehe... dont underestimate the mx5.... you just wait till i have some decent tyres and sway bars on the thing for next texi!!!!

Hey Kory, i've ordered a vid & pics from you & by the quality of the pic of my r33 (midnite purple white rims) on page 2 of the thread, glad i did. It looks awsome, I'm praying for some good video action as i have not seen the car move from the outside yet (First time at texi) & not long bought the car.

Looking forward to recieving my copy of your excellent work! :banana:

It was all the car Eric :D

Its good your car was so fast cause I was having to much fun sliding around after that. Apparently if I didn't stuff up the last part of the second course in the Evo, it would of had your car. Damn cheater evos. Also the times for the Chaser in the first course was 26.3 and in the Go-To-Whoa was 8.4.

Yes, I know I've still have much to learn as a Texi Padawan, but I can't help being a proud pappa.

Thanks mate :( Pretty sure Matt got some sweet shots of your car too, so you should have a bunch of great shots!

Just curious, but by the sound of your car, your running a big single aren't you? Maybe like a T51 or T04Z? Sounds friggin awesome!!

      Here is a recipe. Sonic blocks till you get one that has a good enough bore. Get a torque plate and block brace, use your choice of fasteners (arp ect) bolt the thing together empty, half fill it and let it cure. Release it when it has, go to a REPUTABLE RB Builder and get the thing line bored/honed and cylinder honed to size, then wash. Once its all clean and dandy, wash and blow it out again. Then again.  Assemble said engine to your desired clearances with oil control mods, gasket to suit desired CR/Squish ect. Attach your extended sump with proper trap door oil baffles and head drain plumbed to sump with a SUMP BREATHER SYSTEM. Build your front diff with a decent LSD, rebuild your transfer case with a few extra plates, more than likely replace your tailshaft centre bearing and tighten up the rear diff. Tune to minimise excessive midrange cylinder pressure (timing unless you like to split bores and rebuild engines) Enjoy your engine, but hate the fact you are now destroying engine mounts, gearboxes, gearbox mounts, diff output flanges and driveshafts, diff mounts, tailshafts and front CV's.   Disclaimer.... Ive never done any of the aforementioned stuff.......

      440s will support well over 400HP on petrol, which is a decent place to be for an RB20. 230+rwkW. Will be a safer bet for idle/low load. 550s would be nice for the extra headroom. I've made the same decision with mine (Neo25). 1000s are probably too big for the Nistuned ECU, so I have some smaller ones.

      Appreciate everything guys. I did go ahead and get an alignment... most of my complains are solved. Car is not perfect, but it's good enough. If I notice uneven tire wear or anything I'll just take everything back to stock.  Thanks again!

      They still have not shipped the 550cc injectors as they weren't in stock, so in theory I could ask to get the 440cc ones instead, if those work better in my scenario. They're the same price so really shouldn't be an issue. Unfortunately I am not so knowledgeable in most parts of tuning so I wasn't sure what's best to choose between the two. 440cc ones are the lowest they have (not in stock, but available to buy nonetheless).
