Yeh, ring Race Brakes in WP, tell them about your drama and see if they can get you sorted. The std lines are absolute rubbish in my books as they go to the back of the caliper and not to the std hard lines so when you add lock they ouut tension on the lines :(

And just a question, why isnt there a rule tha states aero cant be a certain percentage over the original dimension or track/wheelbase of a vehicle? I am looking at picks up of an S13 and its way out there!!!! The front wing adds about 50-75% of width to the car...and extends waaaay forward as well. All a bit crazy in my books

I don't have any pics mate, but I've seen some of the cars Roy's referring to.

I'm sure some pics will surface soon enough.

Good news, Mark, Russ and team arrived at EC this morning after driving through the night with both cars in tow and another dual axle trailer full of body kit and fuel :)

The 34 fits on the trailer with about an inch to spare either side now :)

You'll have to swing by and look under the bonnet won't ya! :P lolol

And testing? Yeah, heaps of em. I see some Japanese guys in pit lane with RX7's now, and the Brissy R35's are there too. There's a gaggle of evos standing around looking boring as batshit as well :P

Oh and Timmy, Russ was asking if you were coming up? Hitch a ride with Benson if he's still coming ya champ!

Would love to, but full steam ahead with the EVO to prep it for Rally Aus ATM, damn bodyworks set us back a month!

wow ... Seems like next year the only 'logical' step in regards to aero development is to have wings that are mounted in an unsprung manner, chassis with sliding skirts and rear mounted radiators with large 'cooling' fans ....

Then we'll having dual chassis and active suspension designs all on semi slick tyres :P

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
