He is Scott, i'm getting him around here tomorrow to get the dump/front/screamer made. I will weld the turbo to his manifold so he can't change his mind again. lol.

a little tack weld around the back side of the flange cant hurt LOL!

^^^^i have no idea what any of that means, but I like the pretty colours...lol^^^^

anyways, spent all day fixing stuff up on the car...well Scott did mostly ,I kind of gazed into space most of the day from my lack of sleeping this week...Thanx mate

So just get some Injectors from a more reputable supplier that flow more than 300cc and we done, ready for a tune..

Now I'm off to sell my ass to pay for it all >_<

any thoughts of the TD06SL2 w/ Garrett 60-1. Same 11 blade (trust spec) rear wheel and 10cm housing, but with a comp wheel is more like the size of 25g. 3 inch inlet, and the comp housing dosent look to be as big as the t67, so should be able to low mount on standard manifold without too many problems. if the 20g falls short of 280rwk + on 98 (waiting for jez or artz thumbsup.gif), shorely the bigger comp wheel could get it around the 300 mark. Or would it be too laggy (mismatched) and not worthwhile.

Yeah I'm keen to find out as in WA we only have 98 and I would love to crack the 300 mark

most of their turbos with bigger comp wheels in the smaller .6 housing (same as my sl2) have surge slots...you can get the t67 with the .6 comp housing and it also has surge slots..

why, I guess because they have surge issues

Hello I thought this may be interesting to some people. I have based my calc's off a RB30. with the following. 7k rpm max with the following load point marked on the compressor maps 3k, 4k, 5k, 6k & 7k

TD06H 25G looks good on the dirty thirty by your calcs ;)

Oh yeh forget to add a few weeks ago, Willal racing used to, and still does on there street gtr i think, run twin TD06 25G's on the os giken 3 litre motors, think they made'upwards of

650rwkw, the car went 8's at 160ish mph in the end, i remember the street car made 470rwkw on 20psi on bp ultimate 98 back in the day and ran

high 9's at 144mph in street trim, i think its on E85 now with a lot more power

street car

They were running twin 25G's but since the car now used for circuit work as well as an occasional hill climb they have switched to twin 20G's. They still have the 25G's and i assume that if Adelaide ever gets another drag strip they may make a return.

Still makes over 600kw on E85 with the 20G's though.

Sounds like you hold some superficial value in mothers, would you like to buy mine?

I'll do you a good deal, just give me your car - you can then resell her for the one in the vid.

Think I have made up my mind and am going to order a T67. Anything I should keep in mind when placing the order?

Looks like the T67 doesn't come with lines like the 20G does, do Kando have something to suit? What have others done?

    • just an update to this, poor man pays twice  Tried sanding down the pulleys but it didnt do the trick. Chucked another second hand alternator in the na car which I got for free off my mate and its fixed the squelling. Must have been unlucky with the bearings.    As for my turbo car, I managed to pick up a cwc rb alternator conversion bracket + LS alternator for 250 off marketplace, looked to be in really good nick. Installed it , started the car and its not charging the battery.... ( Im not good with auto elec stuff so im not sure if this was all I needed to do but I verified such by using a multimeter on the battery when the engine was running and I was only getting 12.2v )   I had to modify the earth strap for the new LS alternator , factory earth strap was a 10mm bolt which did not fit the bolt on the LS alternator which was double the size so I cut it off , went to repco bought some ring terminals that fit, crimped it onto the old earth strap and bolted it up to the alternator , started the car and same issue. Ran like shit and was reading 12.2 at the battery.  For a "plug and play" advertised kit thats not very plug and play but alas.  My question is , am I missing something ? Ive been reading that some people recommend upgrading the stock 80 amp alternator fuse to a 140 amp but I dont see how that would stop the alternator charging especially at idle not under load.  Regardless ive pulled it out and am going to get it bench tested by an auto elec tomorrow but it would be handy to know if ive missed something silly or have done something wrong.
    • My wild guess is that you have popped off an intake pipe....check all of the hoses between the turbo and the throttle for splits or loose clamps.
    • Awesome, thanks for sharing!
    • To provide more specific help, more information is needed. What Android screen? What is its wiring diagram? Does the car's wiring have power at any required BAT and ACC wires, and is the loom's earth good?
    • So, now all you need to do is connect the 2 or 3x 12v feeds into the unit to permanent 12v, ACC 12V and IGN 12V that you can find in the spot behind the stereo, and the earth, and then it will switch on with the car.
