Far Queue. I backed the R30 into the 25G. But I am lucky. The front guard I hit is the one with the rust hole in it and I have a spare guard, so no drama. But I have buggered the R30 rear bar.

Win some, loose some.

I believe I'm expecting a photo of my Stagea in the mail from my good friends at SAPOL. >_<

Ouch... :(

make sure you credit the photographer if you use it anywhere :P

LOL. That, or stock up on protein shake mix, depending on what side you're fighting for.

should i have it before bed??

craig are you going to make it one piece? or have 3 seperate ones like your template?

Don't you want some droop? It forces the wheels to maintain contact with the road when you go over a bump. Having too much droop is bad as this will force the car to raise when cornering too much (dependant on spring rates/shock rates etc.)

Yeah, I should clarify; as little droop as these shocks allow; which is still around 4ish inches.

I agree with you regarding droop helping handling but with the length of these shocks, I was actually more concerned about getting the shock running resonably central in it's stroke to allow a good amount of compression travel without bottoming out the piston assembly.

1 piece.......I will need to test fit on your car as well though to make sure that the one I do fits all.

ide be very interested as mine flung off on the freeway some time ago,

i can arrange that. we should just go to the workshop every wednesday night. we have been there pretty much every week for a month lol

I agree....I should be there the following 2 Wednesday nights anyway! Makes it easy to check over things.

I have a spare lying around, but it might be worth waiting to see Craig's "quick release" design.

It won't fit "all" :(

EDIT: fixed thanks Aaron

oh as in yours lol you mixed the quotes around i think.

yeh Ill wait for craigs one..if it doesnt im gonna leave it, its alot easier doing a service, a quick release would be nice though

i think a large opening under the sump would be ideal. that way you could leave the rest of the undertray in position

yeh but i cant remember how the stock one is, isnt there a metal bit around the drain "hole"

    • Ok thanks..that was my second question if i can somehow bypass this even with Nistune(that is all i have right now...aparat from stock ECU. So with some aftemarket it can by "bypassed" or make it work?  I know there is Link or Haltech (mainly used). We have ECUmaster here so i will gather some info about it.
    • Yes. You will need to get the original boost sensor and wire it in. That is.... if you plan to use a stock ECU - even a Nistuned ECU. The Nissan ECU will not operate correctly without it connected. And yes, it will do annoying stuff like you are experiencing. You will almost certainly be better off with some aftermarket ECU, than trying to hunt down rare sensors.
    • Ok so ABS/TCS is "not" the problem. Yeah i know now about the ABS with Nistune(i told that to the Nistune guy) but iam not 100% why or why i dont have ABS. ABS cube is in the engine (always has been) but i had braked couple of times rly hard and brakes just locked and scream. Does all Skylines have ABS cube? That boost sensor https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/367633-wtb-r34-gtt-turbo-pressure-sensor-pics-inside/ Is this it? I need to ask but i have a picture of engine bay and i do not see that (100% is not in that place) If i do not have this the car can do what mine is?(cutting around 4000 rpm) Here is the pic of my engine bay(only one i have) BUT i think i dont have that cuz loom was used from my RB20DE NEO and i know (obviously) that it does not have boost control or any wire to that...) so maybe that is the problem? (i dont know for 100% if that car where the engine is from had that)...but i dont have the loom from that
    • I'm with you here. It's either loom has an issue, OR, injectors are not functioning properly. It could even be they're just constantly dribbling, hence the wet, but not firing.
    • Depending on how long the car sat it is very possible for injectors to be stuck open or closed, I'd get them cleaned and flow tested. Other than that, obviously when the loom changes and the car doesn't start any more....the loom is suspect so some tracing / comparing may be required
