I spent the whole day making my tracking unit close all the windows and sun roofs lock unlock doors remote shut down all via sms. Doing both sunroofs were a little pain in the ass to hook up but finally got it

It all works great now

Oh yeah made my auto lights turn off with the ignition only not the door because of the turbo timer

I am happy now

Excellent....can you drop by my car and do the same mods for me :D

Both those things shit me too. Especially the turbo timer which I will probably disconnect.

YES!

DO SHARE!

right now i got the lights turning off when the turbo timer turns off it works great but i want it to turn the lights off when i hit the alarm thats saturdays project

Koyo in, B&M Supercooler in, front BC BR's in.

Just need to bleed the cooling system now, get the rear coilovers in and give her a massive clean up.

Pics!

With much trepidation I chopped several holes in my rear Aero bar to re- fit my towbar tongue...

Success! Had to cut a little larger than I wanted to to allow clearance for the bends in the bar but no scratches in the paint, so I'm a happy camper. Took a while, as I was trimming away small sections to sneak up on the final fit.

You too Daleo, description is useless without pics... :whistling:

Fixed! :nyaanyaa:

The space at the top looks farking huge in the pics; but it reallly isn't that noticeable, and from a standing position; it's virtually impossible to see.

I wish they'd just made to tongue with one bend, instead of two; I just couldn't fit it through without a slot that big.

Useless photos. We just moved house and I can't find our camera.

That and the grille is on it now and I couldn't be bothered taking it off. I'll take a better photo of the trans cooler when I change my grille. :whistling:

Things to note: The G35 Koyo Alloy radiator is about 20mm longer than the standard M35 unit, and the top and bottom tanks are approx 10mm wider. The airbox sits hard up against the fan shroud bolt, and the over the radiator cold air intake is not in a slightly different position. I'll likely shave some plastic from the airbox before long to try and get everything to fit nicely, but just an FYI - this isn't a perfect bolt in solution.

Given the additional length, the ends of the fan shroud need to be removed.

That said, the radiator itself does bolt on to everything perfectly. No custom mounts, AC condenser fits perfect and the standard rubber mounts go on it easy.

Can't figure out of it's waaay low on ATF fluid or ridiculously high on it. What came out of the hose last night seemed a lot darker than what I'm seeing on the dipstick. Since I filled the car via the dipstick "pipe" I'm guessing I just need to let it settle for a while before checking the levels. I imagine I'll have to add a fair bit of fluid given that it's probably dumped ~400ml in the swap, and I've added some extra hose and a whole trans cooler to the system.

yup same with putting a V35 standard radiator in an M35, well, the 3.5L one.

good work! looks nice in there.

    • Yes. You will need to get the original boost sensor and wire it in. That is.... if you plan to use a stock ECU - even a Nistuned ECU. The Nissan ECU will not operate correctly without it connected. And yes, it will do annoying stuff like you are experiencing. You will almost certainly be better off with some aftermarket ECU, than trying to hunt down rare sensors.
    • Ok so ABS/TCS is "not" the problem. Yeah i know now about the ABS with Nistune(i told that to the Nistune guy) but iam not 100% why or why i dont have ABS. ABS cube is in the engine (always has been) but i had braked couple of times rly hard and brakes just locked and scream. Does all Skylines have ABS cube? That boost sensor https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/367633-wtb-r34-gtt-turbo-pressure-sensor-pics-inside/ Is this it? I need to ask but i have a picture of engine bay and i do not see that (100% is not in that place) If i do not have this the car can do what mine is?(cutting around 4000 rpm) Here is the pic of my engine bay(only one i have) BUT i think i dont have that cuz loom was used from my RB20DE NEO and i know (obviously) that it does not have boost control or any wire to that...) so maybe that is the problem? (i dont know for 100% if that car where the engine is from had that)...but i dont have the loom from that
    • I'm with you here. It's either loom has an issue, OR, injectors are not functioning properly. It could even be they're just constantly dribbling, hence the wet, but not firing.
    • Depending on how long the car sat it is very possible for injectors to be stuck open or closed, I'd get them cleaned and flow tested. Other than that, obviously when the loom changes and the car doesn't start any more....the loom is suspect so some tracing / comparing may be required
    • Harness is for a s1 Rb25det, and it is engine and lower harness.  the old harness had broken off plugs and was in very rough condition/exposed wires and splices etc. it is not able to be put back on the car, I could visually inspect to see if they had rewired any pins on the ecu plug. The fuel pump definitly isn’t turning off it’s an external pump and very loud you can hear it. Will look at the other harness tonight, am also going to pull the fuel rail and watch the injectors spray, will update here with what I find. Pretty sure at this point it has to be something to do with injectors because car will fire up on starting fluid and cas is clicking the Injectors. Fuel pressure is steady 43psi
