hell yeah it was lol

the emanage is cheaper and a proven product :P

Haha, yeah eManage is cheaper than the V-Pro... as it should be. It is, after all, a far lesser product.

V-Pro is not a proven product? You are crazy Bud.

These people

http://www.tunehouse.com.au/

or

http://www.belgarage.com.au/

I have never had any work done by either, and don't know the reputations, but have to say both don't look like a cheap option.

lol i guess the several emanage installs that have been running fine are crap compared to the no correctly running and tuned installs of the hks??

theo, even if you dont buy my emanage, get the emanage if all you want is to trim fuel and a bit of timing. craig was getting 280odd kw at all 4 wheels with his turbo and injectors.

Cam's was working?

Mine works, but I've got it removed until I get a proper tune. Car is booked in to get a suction pipe fabricated up next Saturday, then just need to fit all my bits, and get some injectors.

it was working, sort of. i think he had a few minor problems, possibly due to the fact it wasnt tuned

It was working, and well.

My issue was that I didn't replace the fuel filter which restricted fuel flow in the higher rpm (above 4500rpm) and that the tuner did not alter the throttle control map (so the throttle was initially quite boggy).

Was running very nicely after replacing the fuel filter and the adjustments I made to the throttle control map.

Also, I never said that the eManage is crap. The one that Scott bought was purchased from me a long time ago so I obviously thought they were pretty good.

Is it as good as the V-Pro? Not on your life.

if all youre looking for is a big number then im sure the fcon will get you that. but for an everday car the emanage will suffice!

theres no war, they are two different ECUs doing different tasks and really cant be compared

LOL, no war... I actually do like the eManage Ultimate as stated above, but I'd prefer if you stopped saying falsities like the Fcon wasn't running correctly in my car

Does to me. Works in my car. Removed pending tune.

Has to be done by April for a track day. Looking forward to seeing what numbers it pulls. Not looking forward to a busy couple of months of fitting bits >_<

lol those were your words! throttle response i believe

anyway, it doesnt matter now anyway does it? :)

Matters to me. I think you missed the part of my post where I said that my car... "Was running very nicely after replacing the fuel filter and the adjustments I made to the throttle control map."

Anyway, both ECU's work on an NM35. Just need a competent tuner I guess.

Haha, start the battle. :)

With only what, 6 cars tuned at the moment? One of them blown up, Craigs EMU has been removed, Jethro not allowed to drive, Cam cant drive = smashed (lol), Theres not many left on the road to battle...

What you forget is my e-manage is going back in with the new gearbox then a clean up tune......I'm not going out on standard injectors and ECU to beat the current record set by you........... I'm going to go out with all the right gear on the car and smash the record.....I've got about 12-14 weeks from memory to get it done!

Then its game on!

    • Look for broken wire or bad connector at the motor. Might not be it, but is worth starting there, as it is easy.
    • Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with my R32 GT-R. Sometimes, when the car goes over a bump or experiences some vibration, the 4WD warning light comes on the dashboard. When I check the code from the control unit in the trunk, it shows Code 19 – ETS Motor. However, everything seems to be working fine — if I turn off the engine and restart the car, the light goes away and everything functions normally. Has anyone experienced this before? Where should I start troubleshooting this issue? Thanks in advance!
    • I'm back from the dyno - again! I went looking for someone who knew LS's and had a roller dyno, to see how it shaped up compared to everything else and confirm the powerband really is peaking where Mr Mamo says it should. TLDR: The dyno result I got this time definitely had the shape of how it feels on the road and finally 'makes sense'. Also we had a bit more time to play with timing on the dyno, it turns out the common practice in LS is to lower the timing around peak torque and restore it to max after. So given a car was on the dyno and mostly dialled in already, it was time for tweaking. Luis at APS is definitely knowledgable when it came to this and had overlays ready to go and was happy to share. If you map out your cylinder airmass you start seeing graphs that look a LOT like the engine's torque curve. The good thing also is if you map out your timing curve when you're avoiding knock... this curve very much looks like the inverse of the airmass curve. The result? Well it's another 10.7kw/14hp kw from where I drove it in at. Pretty much everywhere, too. As to how much this car actually makes in Hub Dyno numbers, American Dyno numbers, or Mainline dyno numbers, I say I don't know and it's gone up ~25kw since I started tinkering lol. It IS interesting how the shorter ratio gears I have aren't scaled right on this dyno - 6840RPM is 199KMH, not 175KMH. I have also seen other printouts here with cars with less mods at much higher "kmh" for their RPM due Commodores having 3.45's or longer (!) rear diff ratios maxing out 4th gear which is the 1:1 gear on the T56. Does this matter? No, not really. The real answer is go to the strip and see what it traps, but: I guess I should have gone last Sunday...
    • 310mm rotors will be avilable from Australia, Japan, and probably a few other places. Nothing for the front can be put on the back.
    • The filter only filters down to a specific size. Add to that, the filter is AFTER the pump. So it means everything starts breaking your pump even if its being filtered out.
