Hey Guys, Updated pic of the fuel setup -

PL_PID_60CFDFC9-27B6-40CD-9F2D-75BE600767C4_zps28c1440f.jpg

It looks awesome and when the boot trims are all fitted it should be pretty stealth

Woh... Looks Awesome indeed.

Poor Horses won't know what hit 'em. :D

Hahaha I cant wait to test it out..... If you own a horse you better lock it up!!! :D

Thats not too bad, for NEO as well?

Yep, just checked currrent pricing to confirm and am surprised R33 balancer has come down about $30 since last I looked must be cus of stronger dollar.

Harmonic balancer

12303-75T00 $279.57 Japan

12303-AA100(NEO) $283.66 Japan

That is one sexy, neat fuel setup!

Matches the rest of a logical, well laid out build.

Props to you!

Thanks mate! Appreciate the feedback.... Its been a long road getting it sorted but so glad JEM has been supportive the whole way through, i have learnt so much along the way...

More vids will be coming soon, my mate has some from powerplay and ive got some hillclimbs and track days coming up too!

Nice Surge Tank mate, sneaky ;)

Haha yeah i love it, its so much better than i originally thought it would be! :D

You've still got the freight cost and time etc...... And the 34 is probably different as every other component seems to be on them.....

Last more than an out lap now?

SIckburn.

Lol sonofabitch!

Itll make more than an outlap if i dont roll it with Mani through turn 1

34 is the second one, all up you'd be looking at maybe another $30 on top of that pricing. It's a different part # they look the same though and I wouldn't be surprised if they are.

R34 balancer is different to the R33

R33 runs a 3PK power steering belt. R34 is a 4PK power steering belt.

Offset on the power steering is different as well.

R34 visually looks different as well.

If someone is looking for an NEO one, i have a brand spanker for sale :)

Fuel system is looking good dude. Nice and stealth!

Lol you could have saved me some $$$ :P But all good, i intend on keeping the car for a very long time so its worth spending the extra money on bits to last

And thanks, really happy with the new fuel system!

Done......

Tah.

Now for street time.....

No silly behaviour on the street :P On the track on the other hand, plenty of silly footage to come :woot:

Madness !!! or should that be Matness?

Dooood...

Haha thought you might like it!!

Oh and 363rwkw was where the turbo said no more guys! Pretty impressive result from a GT30! Ill get a graph when i can......... Sounds better though!

363rwkW is a lot of power from a GT30.

Many many people swear it cannot be done. Good result.

Whats next, GTX35R?

It can be done but the turbo has no more to offer... You need the right setup, just ask NYTSKY above with the identical result....

Power is satisfied now, next plan is tune suspension and brakes and actually use the car for its purpose... It's been a long road and not much fun has been had, it's finally coming together.....

And yes a 35r is in the future but it will not be a GTX ;) later.........

IMO you have the BEST compromise between power and response for an all round quick car.

The 35R will give you 50 more kw with 500rpm more lag, just have to ask yourself if that is what you want.

    • Look for broken wire or bad connector at the motor. Might not be it, but is worth starting there, as it is easy.
    • Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with my R32 GT-R. Sometimes, when the car goes over a bump or experiences some vibration, the 4WD warning light comes on the dashboard. When I check the code from the control unit in the trunk, it shows Code 19 – ETS Motor. However, everything seems to be working fine — if I turn off the engine and restart the car, the light goes away and everything functions normally. Has anyone experienced this before? Where should I start troubleshooting this issue? Thanks in advance!
    • I'm back from the dyno - again! I went looking for someone who knew LS's and had a roller dyno, to see how it shaped up compared to everything else and confirm the powerband really is peaking where Mr Mamo says it should. TLDR: The dyno result I got this time definitely had the shape of how it feels on the road and finally 'makes sense'. Also we had a bit more time to play with timing on the dyno, it turns out the common practice in LS is to lower the timing around peak torque and restore it to max after. So given a car was on the dyno and mostly dialled in already, it was time for tweaking. Luis at APS is definitely knowledgable when it came to this and had overlays ready to go and was happy to share. If you map out your cylinder airmass you start seeing graphs that look a LOT like the engine's torque curve. The good thing also is if you map out your timing curve when you're avoiding knock... this curve very much looks like the inverse of the airmass curve. The result? Well it's another 10.7kw/14hp kw from where I drove it in at. Pretty much everywhere, too. As to how much this car actually makes in Hub Dyno numbers, American Dyno numbers, or Mainline dyno numbers, I say I don't know and it's gone up ~25kw since I started tinkering lol. It IS interesting how the shorter ratio gears I have aren't scaled right on this dyno - 6840RPM is 199KMH, not 175KMH. I have also seen other printouts here with cars with less mods at much higher "kmh" for their RPM due Commodores having 3.45's or longer (!) rear diff ratios maxing out 4th gear which is the 1:1 gear on the T56. Does this matter? No, not really. The real answer is go to the strip and see what it traps, but: I guess I should have gone last Sunday...
    • 310mm rotors will be avilable from Australia, Japan, and probably a few other places. Nothing for the front can be put on the back.
    • The filter only filters down to a specific size. Add to that, the filter is AFTER the pump. So it means everything starts breaking your pump even if its being filtered out.
