You'd die after one momo.

clam down.

I've just come off 2 weeks of that, over 40hrs OT logged for the past 9 days. I'm gonna be getting a nice pay packet next week. And then 2nd Jan gear up again for more punishment...

Are you challenging me Good sir?

Yeh birds tell em take cash n Fk off though need something in writing or they could try ream u twice

Yep I'll have it written and signed, wouldn't let em do that to me haha. Just gonna have a word to the daughter and tell her, look, you're a P plater and you're gonna scratch the shit out of this car one way or another...better off just taking the money rather than getting your bumper re-done only to hit a parking pole or Grant's car at Doncaster shoppo.

I chuckled.

What sort of cars does the panel beaters deal with that thinks these quotes 'sounds about right'?

Everything and anything cars. I've used one of them before and they were pretty reasonable on costs, so happy to take their word for it.

The times they are a changing.

How's the car Leigh? How's it on fuel?

Guy across from my work just for brand new gt but it must be te update model has the new headlights looks good black with gold stripes, wheels r ugly as though

Yeah going good loving it, I think the fuel on the brand new engine starts out bad (was like 25l/100) but since then going down and now its at like 15-16l

Most people on the forums are getting like 11-15L per 100 depending on their foot I guess.

It goes well thats for sure :D

haha yeh i bet you'll shave another 3-5ltr off that when your foot calms down haha

In reality its no worst than the GTR on fuel, hell I use to put 50 bucks in the GTR and I'd probably only get 200k's

Put foot down at like 30KM/h once and it actually kicked out a bit forgot I was in a RWD again :D

Needs tint badly to set it off! booked in my first service for next wednesday - from what I read its always good to get the oil out very soon due to excess metal and shiz in the manufacturing process and shit like that when its first worn in. And then off on a road trip in the new year :D

So when you picking yours up?

    • Nah that is not actually a lot. Just painting my GTR frontend and the little bits to make sideskirts/nismo flare pieces work correctly/fit on the sedan/mount up correctly came to about $7000. Is it a lot? Sure. None of this is economical. Economy would be shelling the car and buying a 2010 Corolla to commute in. The perspective of all of this is different.
    • I have the re003s’ on my 06 XT Forester Turbo and I highly rate them for street wet and dry
    • I don't see any issues here. I've been saying all along this is a big job, the price reflects that.  When the car comes back perfect I'm sure it will feel like money well spent.
    • Remember, take original quote. Double it. Then add a bit more. It's how any project goes.
    • So, I started this repair and got as far as "fixing" the holes with some fibreglass. God all those years working on boats came back quickly. I decided I'd reach out to some rust guys just to see what they would say about it. I came across a guy about 40 mins away and went to see him. He said the windscreen needs to come out, that there might be some more bits around the windscreen and he'd quote them at the time. But his quote was $300 to remove and replace windscreen and $3k for the damage he can see. He said he could respray the roof for $1200 and the bonnet for another $800 (somebody has previously rattle canned it, its horrendous). This is $5300 + any small additional bits. It's a lot, I get that and the name of one of my fave youtube channels 'Not Economically Viable' comes to mind.  I'm not being financially rational, but I've taken him up on the quote. He's opening a new shop in November with more room, so we're waiting for that. I'll leave the currently missing headliner out until then. I'm looking forward to it being fixed and having the paint looking nice again (lots of clear coat issues on the roof too). / flame suit on.
