i never had any issues, and some of you know how ridiculous my wheels were on the r34, the only hassles i got were warnings and the odd thumbs up from a young cop at a booze bus lol

paranoid mohsen.

Could there be a nut on the other side of the torx thread preventing it from coming out/loose, i.e. nut and bolt combination? I've been tricked before with this kind of fastener setup. Initially it unscrews because the nut is tight up against a panel, but once the nut frees itself, the whole fastener assembly just freespins.

That or you've threaded a bolt...

hhrmm that could be the case

i guess ill keep turning it a bit more and see what happens

2 of the 4 came out very easy - its the 2 which control the angle of the wing which are both really hard to get out

Thanks brah

Mates rates?

Do you know of a good band? Vocals to rival that of The Voice/X Factor/Australia's Got talent :P?

Half the people we do audio have been within the top 20 of most of those shows anyway. If you want a good band and don't mind spending a bit look up electric empire.

One of the main bands we do audio for they opened up for aloe blacc.

Otherwise still really good but cheaper 'black label' with Laurent Soupe and Carmen Hendrix. Awesome band I can find out where they are playing next.

Electric empire are on your in France right now lol

Let me know of any bargains I need a good deal preferably a c63 for. 50k :P

Yeh I'll let you know but I highly doubt a late model c63 would go for 50k lol.

If u wait till feb our new range is coming out

its been nine month since ive gotten my licence and ive never been pulled over (randomly) despite what everyone on the internet said. pretty good considering p plater in a skyline

Without knowing your car I can only guess its stock and n/a

Try driving slammed big wheels loud exhaust & mods then you'll get loads of attention.. Also depends where you drive

Yer it's slightly lowered but still high and has a fairly quiet exhaust. Also n/a and in dads name so I guess that helps.

Also birds, I have been done for speeding before but other than that nothing

Yeah, wait til you get pulled over when you're not breaking traffic laws :)

I used to think the same way, but then a cop went through 4 red lights to catch up to me for a "random inspection" when my car looked factory.

I think it was Alvin who got an EPA notice for his Supra that had a standard exhaust?

Yup. was me alright,

You've seen the car, it was completely stock down to the airbox. Before it got written off anyway.

Tested 87dB and 89dB on back off, guy wrote it down to 88dB, was at dalder preston or was it heidelberg, was off bell st. pretty nice guy.

    • I appreciate the detailed explanation, think I understand now. I spent the better part of last night reading what I could about shuffle and potential solutions. I had replaced the OEM twin turbo pipe with an alternate Y pipe that is separated further away from the turbo. The current one is from HKS and I had a previous pipe that was separated even further away, both have shuffle. I had heard that a divider can be welded in to the OEM pipe to remove turbulence, and figure that aftermarket pipes that are more separated would achieve the same thing. From what I read, most people with -10 turbos get shuffle due to their size, though it's a bit less common with -5s on a standard RB26. I think Nismoid mentioned somewhere it's because OEM recirculation piping is common in Australia with -5 cars. It seems that the recommendation tends to vary between a few options, which I've ordered in what I think is most feasible for me:  1. Retune the MAP or boost controller to try to eliminate shuffle 2. Install OEM recirculation piping 3. Something called a 'balance pipe' welded onto the exhaust manifolds. I don't know if kits for this are available, seems like pure fabrication work 4. simply go single turbo My current layout is as follows: Garrett 2860 -5s HKS Racing Suction intake MAF delete pipes HKS racing chamber intake piping hard intercooler piping,  ARC intercooler HKS SSQV BOV and pipe Haltech 2500 elite ECU and boost solenoid/controller HPI dump pipes OEM exhaust manifolds HKS VCAM step 1 and supporting head modifications Built 2.6 bottom end All OEM recirculation piping was removed, relevant areas sealed off I'll keep an eye out for any alternative solutions but can get started with this.  Only other question is, does shuffle harm the turbo (or anything else)? It seems like some people say your turbo shafts will explode because of the opposing forces after a while and others say they just live with it and adjust their pedal foot accordingly.
    • That worked out PERFECTLY! Thank you big time to JJ. He was able to swap me his stock diff. He drove all the way to me as well. Killer! Removal & install was pretty straightforward. The diff itself is HEAVY. So that’s a 2 man job.  Man does the car drive nice now! Couldn’t have worked out any better 👌
