good good man!

we had a scare the other day as we had to go to the hospital for an unrelated matter (she hurt her shoulder at work) and we got a call back cos some scumbag that was at the hospital on the same day had german measels.

that was a week and a half ago and she didn't get it thankfully!

it turns out that the immunisation we had as kids doesn't last for life as was previously thought and you need to get booster every couple of decades :/

my jimmies were fairly rustled, but now no tears

when i ordered my black XD9's they were paid for in december and in MARCH we called and got told they were being made that week.

(satin black is made to order) needless to say order was cancelled lol

Wheels still not here after 14 weeks, told it would be 6-8.

Jimmies status: heavily rustled.

lol 6-8 is the guesstimate for everything in week form. International shipping? 6-8 weeks. Broken bone? 6-8 weeks. Embryogenesis? 8 weeks. 2 months wait for a new release game? 6-8 weeks.

HAHAHA sucks to be Moh.

So, going back to the old system plus another 5kw/tonne...does this mean that the R32 GTS-T (or was it the R33 GTS-T?) will now just scrape in as P plate legal?

Yeh bloody Germans.. Nah it's good to hear its all going well. And don't give your kid anything to do with moh

if you read it has to come with a VIN plate stamped with power/weight.

so still no go on older turbo's.

Nah thats only from new but IDE assume they'll have a list of the cars that fall under the power to weight but still be restricted, like skylines

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
