yeah, my prof that i was doing my final year research project for transferred to Uni of Western Syd.

Project supervisor offered me to work as a research assistance engineer for him and i turned him down thinking I don't want to hang around Uni... how stupid was i.

So close to graduating yet so far, frustrating.

Get a job and claim the first 3 months of work as work experience.

Only thing I have to say is for all those studying and doing double degrees etc.. is that it's all good as long as you do something with it.

I know plenty of brahs that do double degrees in what not, but end up getting/wanting a job that didn't need it or still end up working at Coles etc..

Also what subject you study does depend what University is best but. University of Melbourne is ranked as the #1 University in Australia and 37th in the world :P

Edit: Depends which source you read but Melb Uni might be behind Australian National University.

inb4 methodologies are crap

What up my fellow Melbourne Uni brah

The Times top 200 list is considered the most authoritative. Melbourne has been Australia's best in that list for the past few years, ANU and UNSW not far behind.

You must have gotten a pretty high enter score to get into Law at Melb Uni? 95 +?

Uni can be tough. We joke about it being a bludge, but when you are actually doing the work, shit can really rack your brain (regardless of how well you study). And you see no immediate reward from it like your mates who went straight into full time jobs. Even apprentices on minimum wage earn from their learning.

There are awesome things about uni - I'd choose the lifestyle over fulltime work any day. But I do remember staying up 36 hours straight to finish a lab report once (got an HD for it!), and that was harder than anything I've done in fulltime work.

Everyone's got problems at their own levels and problems are shit regardless of where they sit on a scale. You can say "that's nothing" when looking at someone else's, but then there's always someone who has it worse than you too. I guess moral of the story is no one should complain or everyone should complain, just don't complain about complaining lol.

Oh and Nick...anyone who works in a family business knows it ain't 9-5/7, that's just what the payslip says lol. Even outside the unpaid overtime, the future of the business and day to day running sits at the back of your mind, day and night!

Higher...

Minimum enter for hecs place was 99.45 in my year

Farrkkk...

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.

    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
