Still a daily, as I have no other car lol

Yeah will see how it goes when I install the turbo, May need to feed the throttle out of corners when I track it

I think you'll be fine with the invos for now, if the highflow is only going to get you 250 it should be alright with the boat!

Toby, arre you turning your car to RACECAR?

Yesp, slowly but surely..

SS2 brah. Probably 270-280rwkw apparently

you're azn, you'll never see his level...

what tyres ham's got?

Well at least he's got 'panaramic' / 'widescreen' view and can anticipate the track.

lol Jamie

lol... and isnt 280 a little too much?

I'm thinking maybe should have gotten the same turbo as Birdman. SS1PU

Iuno how you lose traction in 3rd, even with dunlop 245s in 2nd when they're warm I can pull 60km/h role and not lose traction if the road is smooth, if I take off from low speed in 2nd then it'll just spin tho

If tyres are cold or I havn't been fanging it around to warm them up it'll lose traction at 50-100 in 2nd feelsgoodman

Group buy nt05s gogogo

i'm planning on hitting nats in STD rwd.

did it last year and came 2nd to richo on the track..

so think got a decent chance this year.

but the airport run...i'm going to get demolished! what with my little 180 kw

how is your car so devoid of traction aaron?

even with 320rwkw I have full traction in third

You all drive heavy as f**k boats. If the tyres are warm I have traction. Just when everything's cold I don't. Plus the turbo is kind of nothing nothing nothing then bang 270

Probably also has something to do with not having it aligned yet

<3 SS1PU, so streetable! And happy to take the V8s above 100.

As soon as I sort out my fuel economy issues I'ma get that E85 tune for the super responsive 300!

This...comparing apples with oranges here. Even on the same cars traction is a totally different story with suspension setup and power delivery, let alone totally different chassis and gear ratios.

ya even with my power I could spin in 3rd when I had cold streets

semi's fixed that.

nt05s dont look very safe in the wet.

I did mt buller rd in the rain couple years back with NT05's and 280rwkw... barely saw below 5k rpm the whole way

they did VERY well

Probably also has something to do with not having it aligned yet

This... is what I was getting at..... ;)

    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
    • So M12 and sealant should be fine?    NPT ” because that’s what I had and what I could get atm.
    • Wouldn’t touch par if they gave it to me. You need to ask how much power you’re looking to make and then add about 50% to it because that’s what you’ll end up making  The factory box says no more at about 350kw or so, the upgraded synchro boxes won’t handle much over 500kw for long and at that point you’re looking at an auto or dog engagement manual,  once you’ve gone dog engagement you may as well go sequential, they cost a little bit more but it’s worth it  also while you’re at it you should upgrade the transfer case with 10 friction plates
