here ya go phag, some quick clips from the first run, me following ur mate then me following you, go pro hero 2 actually pretty decent quality

makes your arms look really long

Brings me to this

And makes me scared for you, birds, and the other dude when you overtake all the cars around corners like that. I dunno if it's the go pro, but fk I'd be too scared

hah yeah good thing I cut out my overtake on that black commodore then :P if anything I reckon the go pro takes away from the speed

I dunno, adrenaline sometimes gets the better of you one thing to consider also is just how quick the bikes pick up speed from a 80km/h roll little twist of the wrist and you're past the car already

Yeh and I also realized that the lower the camera is to the floor, the more realistic the speed looks..

Yeh I don't know I would love to get my license but I think confidence will get the best of me and I'll end up killing myself

At least get your license, see how you find it that way you've got it.

Risk also depends when / where you ride I reckon, peak hour to work a few times I've done and is way more dangerous, heaps of cars out.

That being said the other day I almost got cleaned up, I'll see if I had gopro on, remember when I was raging at the car birds basically he overtook someone then they just turned into me thinking there was only one bike, actually doesn't even look bad on video :\ dam the gopro and it's wide lens!

lmao, i took the mazda daily on some jumps. and the work ute on some gravel roads, 2nd gear clutch kicks haha

that said.

time to start stock piling parts.

looking into brian crower kits...

Yeah definitely, Watching DECA and Sandown footage is so slow and boring compared to actually being in the car... Especially if the camera is mounted high on the car like the roof (or helmet in your case)

Showed my dad some DECA footage once and he was like "Oh, I thought you'd be going faster... " /dadburn :(

    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
