Higher base cost for the car though.

Either way, different cars for different purposes.

exactly right!, spent like $2700 on wider wheels / better tyres, $2000 on suspension, vs my $1400 tun

That includes the cost of the flash tuner (like power FC hand controller) so no more than my GTR cost me to tune.. Infact cheaper!

Silly p-plater didn't do a head check to see me next to her. Changed into my lane.

Was deciding whether to break or not... (birds knows that feel)

Who would have been at fault if my front left guard and front bar was crumpled?

You I believe, you're in her blind spot and she's in front of you, you could say wreckless driving but its you against her. Someone feel free to prove me wrong but that was my understanding.

My car goes in for finger printing tomorrow, and I can pick it up after work tomorrow, anybody know any cheap tows? I was thinking of using a mates RACV for the first free 20kms and then paying the rest, unless theres a company thats cheaper for the entire trip?

RACV only tows breakdowns. They can't tow accident related cars. :(

Google says she is at fault. As I am in control of my lane, she requested to enter to which I can accept or reject.

By changing lanes and hitting me, means she did not have acceptance to enter.

Could have had a micolour spray.... Haha

had a guy pull up next to me in a real shit tiny tow truck and started doing a burn out... then yelled out 'rb25' had 'muztek towing' written on the side with a sticker of a turbo.

pretty sure it would be cheap but probably wouldnt get car back...

Haha yeah a black truck? I know of the one. I'm just gonna rent a BP Tandem trailer tomorrow, $80 for 9 hours versus $400+ for a tow truck.

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
